Quite frankly Mozzy ur quite allowed to scream! personally id like to hear how men sound giving birth to babies through their weaners.... :cool: also I've never been so glad to see any man as when he turned up to do the Epi....

My waters were broken, I just remember them being very warm and then later in I felt like I was leaking again, told them all they ignored me until they realised I was dripping through the bed :rotfl:

Welcome flufnutter Love the name Freddie, sounds like he is growing well! Do you mean a pound btw? My little monkey put on a lot at first, but slowed right down at about 12 weeks. What does little Freddie weigh now?

Mozzy, glad its sunny for your last week with Charlie, its nice here too. Off to nursery number two at 1:30. The one yesterday was lovely but they need 2 weeks deposit to secure a place which you dont get back until you leave. The one today is £4 a day more but the deposit is deducted from your first months fees....decisions decisions.

Oh, I was the same re OBEM, I used to text my mum saying "OMG she is pathetic, I will not be like that" and I wouild say to OH "Naahh, I won't scream like that - whats the point, it won't help me"
hmmm...now I understand how wrong I was. I think I was worse than any OBEM girl!!

Hi all, welcome Fluffnutter

My first sign of labour was waters breaking, hadn't even had any braxton hicks or anything. Just a sudden sharp pain, and then I needed a towel too with all the liquid! At least I didn't have to go anywhere wearing it... My midwife was on duty that day so she delivered Elliot, which was lovely as it was someone I'd already met. Not that she did much for most of it, just sat on the sofa chatting and having cups of tea

Had a bad night last night, awake for feeds every hour from 2am, yawn. Fingers crossed for a cooler night tonight!

We have decided on our childminder so will be signing the papers tomorrow. She hasn't mentioned a deposit so hope that I won't get any expensive surprises when I see her!
