There's a link here telling you how the baby should be positioned. I stupidly bought a carrier before re-searching so I can't use mine now :( I'm planning on buying another though :)

I have a wrap (tricot slen - but think they are all the same really!) . Only used it once so far but is super comfy. I like that you can tie it in different ways as baby gets bigger. I saw a video on YouTube where a woman puts her 4yr old in one - it's not meant for that, she's just demonstrating just how flexible/strong they are.

If we had some sun I'd use it more, might start wearing it around the house actually so I can get some stuff done...hmm now there's a thought....

Turtlemoose - I have seen a few mums at the school with their babies in the wraps they look super comfy!! Not sure I would want to carry a 4 year old in one though!!

Morning lades, hope everyone's had a decent sleep?

We're up for the first time now (4am) which isn't bad going, hopefully he'll go back down for a few more hours after this feed.

We've got a baby bjorn, I didn't know they were meant to be bad for baby, but we don't use it for extended periods. He seems to love it though - pretty much guaranteed that within 5 minutes he'll be sound asleep.

Glad I'm not the only one awake at silly o clock Katie!
Teddy has been up all night, Think I might have got 30mins kip in between all the grunting and straining......feeding every 2hours on the dot then won't bring any wind up.....I've literally tried everything the only thing that seems to work is putting him in his crib and 20mins later he screams, pick him up and he burps! Just getting no sleep :-( used infacol on the last couple of feeds which doesn't really seem to be helping! I'm sooooo tired.........
Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference :)

mrsbryan I too have a hard-to-wind baby. I can be there rubbing and patting, walk up and down stairs, put down and pick up etc and get nothing....my OH only has to touch him and burp! Useful when he's home, frustrating when he's not!
