    Morning all

Wow it looks like it is going to be a lovely day here :D
Dp is going to cut the front lawn this afternoon. I want to buy one of those back carrier things that baby sits in so we can go for a walk in the woods on days like this. May have a look on eBay.

    Morning sunshine
Yay for Aiden sleeping better! :D
I have found a seller that sells lots of the back carriers in our town so going to give them a ring in a bit. :j
If we do buy one we will take the kids and dog to the woods this afternoon and wear them out a bit ;)

Hope you get a carrier Sammie. We bought one to take on holiday with us, it was really good actually as the airport we landed at, Palma, was a really long walk to the carousel to get the pushchair so OH had him in the carrier, we also used it on a few excursions off the boat.

Looks like a nice day here too :) OH wants to watch the F1 later though so looks like me and Aiden will be in the garden :p

On the weight subject, although I weigh less than before I was pregnant, my stomach looks so much bigger because it is so wobbly. I really need to tone up. I can wear size 10 jeans now, where I was a 12 before, but I cant wear any tops which are quite tight fitted as its all a bit jiggly!! May have to get some of these amazing control pants :o

I wouldn't feel too down about your shape/size - we have just had beautiful babies! xxxx

Sunshine - that is why we wanted to buy a carrier, so we could take it on holiday with us too. Haven't managed to phone up about it yet as I have another headache so have spent most of the day on the sofa Dp is making homemade burgers for dinner and all I can hear is the blender going!!!

Carriers - get a good one that supports from the back of one knee to the other and keeps the weight on the bum, not the groin - think of a very squished flat in the middle M shape. Closer you can get them to your own centre of gravity the easier they are to carry as well - things like babybijorns are really hard going on your back and neck.

I've got a connecta - use it for front carries at the moment, will swap her over to going on my back in the next few months and I hardly use the pushchair at all to be honest.

I love my Babybjorn and have had no problems using it, and I'm normally prone to back pain. I used it when travelling from Gatwick a couple of weeks ago and whilst in transit; definitely useful when travelling. Also very man-friendly - hubby and dad both happy to use it. But I like the look of the Connecta and the point about having the weight on the bum and not the groin makes a lot of sense. I guess it's ultimately down to personal preferences...

I was told the BB carriers are bad for baby, and decided to research it myself, and I wasn't amused at the results, considering they are so widely sold. For very occasional use I'd say they are alright but not for any length of time.
