Lirin sounds like the toast was a success!

We are having pizza and chips (from takeaway) as I'm stuck holding the baby (literally) and OH can't/won't cook....I'm secretly glad as we've not had takeaway for ages :)

Oh Lirin yay on the stretchmarks, Imine have faded too, but my section scar, which was quite light, has gone angry purple :( need to get rubbing with the bio oil just can't find the time!!

Ugh, Reuben is asleep on my chest and has a puddle of dribble :-/ he's not normally a dribbler, this is gross!

If you've no joy, shout at me- can see if there's some left. Glad I got them too- work trousers are precarious enough!

I've discovered I actually like M&S quite a lot. Their long trousers actually are.

I've signed up to see if I can be used as an extra on Game Of Thrones. Considering it's filmed beside my work, near my house, and in a random forest I take the dogs to, I thought why not?

They had open cast calls around the corner from me once at the Holiday Inn. The guys had to have beards, was so funny seeing them all :D

Sunshine yay for your sleeper :) trouble with OH and nights is BFing.....so he says what can he do anyway, which he does have a point about! No point us both being up and both being tired. What I would like is just some acknowledgment that he knows it's hard but I'm doing well and it's only short term blah blah blah....

I think his trouble is, his first son was FF from day 1 so he was involved with feeding. Also all OH family talk about how good he was helping with nights etc first time round, so I reckon SS must have been quite the crier. Reuben makes a sniffly noise and I'm awake, ready to feed him BEFORE the crying. But even when he does cry, OH doesn't even stir. He wants me to express so he can give me a night off, but I don't see the point as I'd be the one waking OH up....being interrupted to that degree negates the point of a night off.

I just wanted to say that you arent alone with this Turtlemouse, you could have been describing my situation with DH. It almost makes me sorry I chose to BF, and I would certainly have to think about it a great deal more if it was ever a decision I had to make again. My DH just doesnt seem to understand how dog tired I get, and I will admit to kicking him occasionally if I'm up BFing and he's there happily snoring away :silenced:
I'm so looking forward to the first solid night sleep I've had in 14 weeks but thats at least a month off yet and thats being optimistic. Oh well they are only little once (thats what I keep telling myself)

I have a very stressed baby tonight for some reason :(
I think he is overtired, he won't even take his bottle.

just wondering when everyone got their first period after giving birth? i had the normal bleeding for around 2-3 weeks then nothing for a week and as of last night i started to bleed again, very much like a period, cramps too! thought it was a bit too early? i breastfed for a week, now im expressing roughly 2 4oz bottles a day and the rest formula....so maybe it is?

Similar to you here - I was bleeding for about 3 weeks after giving birth, then nothing for about a week and then a period (complete with cramps, which started a day before the bleeding, so I initially assumed it was c-section pain). Was SO not impressed - I'd finally stopped bleeding and there it was again! - but I guess I should be pleased that my body's back to its normal self so quickly... :o
