Ro - look forward to hearing how tomorrow's weaning goes with Scott. What's on the menu? I need to start doing my own at some point! xDFD February 2012

I used to try and dream feed Noah but he would always wake up and look at me with a look on his face as if to say "what the hell are you doing women!" I think he just didn't really need a feed though! Try it with Aiden and see if it does help, some of my friends swear by dream feeding. Xxx:)DS1 10yrs

I was on the pill too before Aiden. I've gone back on it now though - and we do want another, but not for a couple of years
Nooooo, next week is your last?!? BOO BOO BOO. I just know that my return date will creep up so quickly. And I know my first day back at work will be spent in tears. Do you enjoy your job at least?
xxx
That's the rubbish part, no. Not anymore.....I enjoy what I do, but not where I'm working, there's not the stuff I want to work on there, but there's not a lot out there at the moment.....but hey ho, its money to look after Charlie and to build a life for him xDFD February 2012

I've heard some good things about it, when I worked at nursery one mum used to rave about it, so I'll give it a go. At the worst it will mean I am up most of the night - which isn't unusual at the mo really lol! Think might visit the docs in the morn about the wrist pain as its been hurting today, will report backx

I'm really lucky as we can get by on dp's wage, I can't imagine having to leave little one so I feel for you. How many days will you be working? Xx

Evening ladies, I've finished the worst of my work and already in bed woop! Although have a very wriggly baby which is unusual at this time, be typical if when I don't have to stay up working he keeps me up all night.
I never really understood the dream feed thing, I read that they can feed when they're asleep, is that it? Because George won't! He just lies there with it in his mouth but not sucking.
Hope everyone gets some decent sleep tonight, night xNewborn thread member

Same as me, I'm dreading it. Its a bummer for me as I know I am capable of a lot more, but I don't really want to committ to some high fly carreer as I have seen women come to work at 730 and not get home til after 9pm. I'd rather earn a bit less and see my boy! Although its going to be a struggle with money, but maybe the perfect job will pop up!
Fingers crossed things may have improved at your place when you return.
Yes, its money to keep those babies fed and watered hey! Ugh, why do we have to go back!!
Actually, heres a little rant - it really annoys me that me and OH will only really just scrape through after paying nursery etc, and we get no help at all from the Government, I dont expect help at all, buuuttt there are people who we know of who neither of them work and they send the kids to nursery full time and most of its paid for by the Government, then they spend the whole day sat on thier bums at home!!!:mad:Little Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

4 days, I'm taking a Wednesday off to break up the week, so It's only 2 days at work, then I've got a full day with him. You're very lucky! Wish I could be with him all the time xDFD February 2012
