I'd love some sunshine right now. I got caught in the rain today but had to rush home as my OH had work, and was looking after baby! Wasn't amused, was soaked when I got in :(

    Hello all !

Gilly - love the nappy tail! Just repeat what I have already said to you your in real trouble now lol !!!

Sunshine - I was envisaging a sun soaked summer, sunny jubilee, olympics... Can you not do anything? Don't you have the power with that name Lol !! Re weaning the possibilities are endless ! Blw is the new way but I am old school hence the baby rice/pur!es my friend said that they will accept the vegetables easier to start with as the baby rice is plain and you add there usual milk so the veg mix has the familiar milky taste. I will increase the ratio of pur!e over time. Am starting off with the less sweet things first ie veg then will do some fruit etc I like the Amanda ursell weaning book as she has children and she is traditional but makes a lot of sense, her hubby is Italian so there is some good recipes too but she does give you surprising shortcuts for convenience too.

Lirin - congrats on the win !!!! Scott does the frustrated cry but he does manage to move all be it unsophisticatedly lol

Dizzi - go granny !! Lol

Sunshine &katiechoc - hope you get a better night

    Turtlemoose- hope baba better !

Mozzy - hope Charlie has a better night c

Sammie- are you drinking enough? Sorry cant help don't get the headaches

Gas man been did not come until 3 but at least he came, left us with a house full of gas fumes though  but at least it's done and our bills are already going up as had to give a reading boooo!

    Hope everyone ok

The pea pur!e and baby rice combo went done fine.

We have had a jumperoo poo luckily contained only hit the vest

They are a nightmare RO when I was pregnant I had about 3 headaches the whole 9 months and they weren't even that bad. I might go to the drs and see if they can help.

    Hello all,

Gilly - you got yourself a clever little monkey there!! Bless him, he looks very proud of himself!

Hi Ro! Thanks for the tips re weaning! I'm going to look into that book you have mentioned. Glad Scott is enjoying it. We had a bounce a bout poo the other day, which was super fun as I thought he had finished so I changed him and 5 minutes later he did the rest!!
I am afraid I am not the sunshine fairy lol, if I could magic some up - I would do :A

Sammie, hope you get your headaches sorted hun. Headaches are a right pain in the butt :(

Can I ask what you are all doing with your babys clothes that don't fit anymore? I have mine all washed and stacked up and was going to buy some of those vacumn bags and put them in the loft - but I have absolutely loads and its only really 0-3's!!

I gave all my newborn stuff away to a young girl on freecycle and the 0-3 months are going to a friend of my DH who has just had a boy (I didnt even know they were pregnant otherwise I would have kept the newborn stuff for them). Note that I'm not having any more children, I didnt want any before I went through the total mess up that was Jakes birth now I'm doubly sure I wont be having any more. :D

Tell me ladies that are weaning, what are you using to mash up the food? A blender? if so any specific one or would any one do? My food processor packed up before xmas last year and I've put off replacing it until now so I could get one that would do baby food. Any recommendations?
