Gilly - boots is where I got my photos done!! Will definatly order online next time though so thank you for letting me know.
Sunshine -I hate it when you realise you need to go to the shop to get something for dinner. I went to the same shop 3 times yesterday and still forgot apple sauce do sent dp back down so I didn't look even more of a plonker!!!
Baby group was really good, can't go for the next couple of weeks as we are busy next Monday then away the following Monday but will definatly go back after that.

Katie, I consider it an achievement if I'm showered and dressed before 2pm

Gilly, that nappy is fab
I looooove giraffes! If anything's going to make me switch to cloth, then this is it! My LO already has two giraffe toys, one giraffe vest and one giraffe dress
- and we might just have to get Sophie the teething giraffe even though it's expensive and gets mixed reviews... Has anyone tried one?

That does make me feel better! George is pretty good first thing, I can normally feed him and put him in his cot while I jump in the shower and he'll either watch his mobile until I'm done or snooze for a bit. Don't feel human til I'm dressed!
Glad baby group was good sammie I'm going to perseve with the nct one near me on Wednesdays, providing I get my work finished. Deadlines that would have been easy peasy before George was born are terrifyingly short now I've got him to entertain at the same time!Newborn thread member

I'm fine, knackered, and fed up. Feel like my life is just a constant hamsters wheel of clean baby, change baby, feed baby, clean up house, repeat. ZzzzzzThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Know what you mean, I always feel worse when I haven't been out all day too.
Feel like I haven't stopped all day until just now when he has gone to bed!! And then it starts all over again either when he waked up or in the morning...Little Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

Bluebell do yo live near York? Just me being nosy but I grew up in East Yorkshire not far from York.
Not very near, it took 2 hours on the train from Lincoln! Elliot was very good, DH took him round the museum while I read through the 1870s archive ledger I needed to look at. Only had to emerge twice in 3 hours for a baby feeding session.... So, research done, now have to write a paper tomorrow!I'd have liked a bit more time so I could see the museum properly, but we'll just have to go back another time. I love York, it's a gorgeous city. That was second choice of 'places to work' options if I'd been able to find a job there - however I was lucky enough to find a job in my favourite place, which is even better
DH grew up in East Yorkshire, the area that's pretty much falling into the sea.
Elliot spent some time on the train coveting the mobile phones the people next to us were using. Kept reaching out and bouncing at them, it was very funny.
Hope you get some sleep tonight Gilly (and everyone else). Elliot was up every 2 hours again last night, but at least he goes back to sleep after his feeds.
He is almost crawling now, but hasn't yet mastered lifting his head up at the same time as moving the rest of him...0 -
Evening everyone
Just put bubbles to bed and had a shower so going to have an early night and get into bed soon I think
Gilly - hopefully you can get a good nights sleep and feel refreshed in the morning. It can feel like we are on a conveyer belt at times, my evening consists of feeding baby, feeding kids, reading homework, writing homework, baths, teeth, quick tidy up, bottles then bed!!
In between we usually have countless nappy changes and the boys bickering!!

Yes sorry, been having trouble getting Charlie to sleep tonight in his bed again. Finally got him down today after almost 3hrs of trying. Its such a shame, coz we both really enjoy him sleeping with us. We all sleep better and longer lolDFD February 2012
