Morning gilly, we (OH, SS, me and Reuben) are off to a show at our local park....bouncy castles, stalls selling tat, overpriced fairground rides, the usual sort of thing (can you tell I'm not keen lol). But they do have monster trucks and motorbike stunt shows - again not personally keen, but SS (7) loves them so we're off to that.
On the plus side I won a tricot slen sling on eBay for £14.50 the other day so I'm going to try that out for the first timewe only live 2 mins walk from the park so if the sling doesn't work or it pees it down (looks likely!) we haven't got far to run back
Hope everyone is having a good weekend with well behaved LOs....(haha!)0 -

Sunshine - I have always kept my boys on SMA gold until they were a year, I've not used the progress type. Not sure what I'm going to do this time though, I may have to have a read up online.
Just got bubbles out of the bath do giving him a bottle then going to order my Chinese

I may be inclined to switch - purely since as it's over the 6month age it's allowed to go on promotional offers and stuff occasionally so the potential's there!
We still have naps downstairs in her carrycot (and probably later on in the travel cot currently serving as a playpen) - I like her near me so I can check on her constantly without having to run up and downstairs (still terrified of cot death - especially when I found figures about how much more common it is in preemies!). Evenings we draw the curtains quite early (would do anyway as the sun comes round to the front of the house which is quite a sun trap) and don't put the lights on in one end of the lounge so it's a bit dimmer - just enough to make it clearer it's big-sleep time.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -

Lol dizzi, thats a really good point - first stage formula is so expensive and obvs never on offer. Ill do some reading up too I think.

Changing the bed is the job I dread the most around the house!!
Just put bubbles down so let's see if he stays put!! He is asleep at the moment so fingers crossed. I've got the angel care sound and movement monitor and I keep forgetting to turn it off when I take him out of his Moses basket so have to run back up the stairs whilst it is beeping at me!! Keeps me fit though I suppose!!
