One more thing I am :heartpuls:heartpuls everyone of the baby piccies !!
Nice to know about some lurkers who are now posting too xx
I love looking at pics as well, we should all post pics more often!
I've just started on my OH's tea, I'm doing a chilli!
He's just e-mailed me to ask about Poppy's prescription and if he will have to pay when he collects it, he was panicking as they are about 12 items on it! He really doesn't have a clue and didn't realise that kids get free prescriptions!! You can tell who deals with all things 'Poppy' in this house!! :rotfl::heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

With the tummy thing - it's so much easier if your body was a wobbly trainwreck to start with - reduces the bar to get back to pre-baby body so much
Hubby's of the same opinion as me - that if they need to refer us to anyone about the hernia - over our dead bodies are they sending her back to the hospital she was born at - we'll push to go to the next city if we need to. I just don't trust them - and that's before having to deal with the flashbacks and PTSD thing from going back into that place again.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -
Honestly, I go off for a nap and come back to another page of stuff!!
Dizzi, I'm so sorry they are still being rubbish - I hear a lot of that about HV's in particular though. Good on you getting an apology. A lot of babes do have umbilical hernias and they regularly sort themselves out but it will need an eye keeping on it. Even if it is an op it won't be for a while, especially with her being prem and little, so try and put going back to hospital out of your mind. (Just seen your comment, that's definitely the way to go).
I seem to be an odd shape now, the tum is saggier than ever so even though I'm a bit smaller things don't fit, and the boobs are utterly out of my control (5.5 months of breastfeeding plus the up and down in pregnancy) but I'm not too bothered and hubby bless him doesn't seem bothered at all.
Ro - what is it with other people wanting to feed your children? I was at a family party on saturday and gnomie was doing the rounds grinning at everyone, then we get asked from across the room if she can have a bread crust to nibble on! Although I am weaning her, she isn't having wheat or dairy until 6 months. I also don't want people who aren't her parents giving her food at this stage since she struggles to do it alone and needs an eye on her at all times.
The first thing she had was strawberry though and she loved it!!
I'm off to find a photo of gnomie as there aren't any pics on this page yet! Not cooking DH's tea, although if he wants it we can defrost the vegetable crumble I made last week. Otherwise he is making chips and something!:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Nutella, I sympathise with the after-pregnancy stretch marks. I did have a few, but god knows what they did to me when I was having my c section as when I went in that theatre I only had a couple of light ones, and when I came out my belly is covered in angry purple ones, they are slightly faded a month on but they are much worse than before they messed with me!0

Lol jannine - all indications are she's going to be a [STRIKE]hobbit [/STRIKE] dainty little thing, like her father!!:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Jannine, number 1 child, plus getting very overweight then thinner means that I already required a great amount of underpinning up top
Number 1 was also responsible for the zebra crossing of stretch marks across my tummy that never went away!
My tummy is big still, and of course the milk departmentbut I seem to be also storing extra in other places too which is annoying, big thighs, why?!
Not sure if this'll come out, but if it does, here's my due date belly!0
