Charlie is "talking" so much lately Heehee

He's still bringing up quite a bit of formula after feeds lately, but not sure doc will do anything if he's putting on weight x

Mozzy - I trust your back asleep ! I didnt realise that Charlie brings up some feed, I know it's quite common and as you say might not do anything as he is gaining well anyway.
I confess I have never used Skype in my life! But it is fab for those who's family/friends are far away. My mum friends daughter is in Australia and she is due her first grandchild soon. Without skype she would be lost.
Scott had had first feed and is now asleep, hubby has got up as Scott just won't go back to sleep with him in bed it's such a pain.
I have not looked at natwest hope hubby gets on ok sorting it out, what a nightmare stupid technical error.

Have you been using your avent bottle handle ? I have been lazy and understand your supposed to start training them onto those handle cups but I have not been using the handle or handled beaker thing since the last bout of hot weather. As he has 6 large bottles they are too heavy with handle so would need to use smaller one but no space for seven items in steriliser! Need to make an effort as I think that I need to get him using them in the highchair in preparation for weaning.
    What u up to today?
Off to drop off the friends sons present and get done stuff to strengthen fencing. Dylan is arriving at 11 for his holiday with me.

One q Scott will not put his feet flat when you stand him up he curls his toes, I understand that it's a newborn reflex and hoping he will grow out of it, anyone else had this? Scott's 5 months

Let me know how you all are

Morning. Had a better night last night with only two wakes between 10 and 6. After that she was a pain to settle and was just doing naps so I woke DH up about 7.30 and sent him downstairs with her so I could get more sleep. I love weekends!! Also got my bath last night and managed to finish the book I'd been on for the last 3 weeks!

We've started (slowly) with BLW. Munchkin was getting far too interested in us eating and I'd given her the odd little thing to nom on which she seemed to enjoy even if none went in, apart from a bit of strawberry. Yesterday she had a bit of pepper and apple which she waved about and did attempt to eat, plus some fruit puree. The puree went down very well, but we weren't feeding her, just loading a spoon and letting her suck it up or not. She was even doing the spoon herself part of the time - I had to keep telling DH to let her do it. Such a mess tho!!

    Hugs to jenjade xx

I don't know about Scott's feet Ro, but I don't think they do hold their feet properly for quite a while. Mention it to your HV (if you have a good one) and see what they say? Certainly I think DD does the toe thing too although perhaps not all the time, I'll have to pay more attention and see!

Jess is 5 months and has been weaning for amonth now, she has baby porride for breakfast(8am), a puree lunch(12pm) followed by a petit filous, then at tea time (4pm) same puree as lunch and a petit filous, Jess has water with her meals but wont use beaker.

She will have a 6 floz bottle of Sma an hour after meal.

Jess is on 95th percentile for weight and height and is on size 4 pampers now, all her 6 to 9 month clothes only just fit her!

Hoping she will lose it as she crawls, Hv thinks all is well just a very content baby, Jess will sleep solidly from 9pm till 5am xxx

    Hope u r well x

I've not seen the effects yet, but we've just got to face the fact that they can't stay on milk until they are potty trained ;)
