I thought this may be useful for anybody with boys who is looking to be organised for winter. Unfortunately as my baby is a girl they are not much use to us but I hope it saves some of you some money. I had the same thing for my younger son and got 2 years use out of them so even at full price they are cost effective0 -
thanks for the lin koalamummy, x

Hello all :hello: I haven't been here because I used to post from my phone, which was stolen by some inconsiderate scuzzbag about 3 weeks ago.
How is everyone keeping? Are we all enjoying the sunshine?
I had to buy a big sunshade for the buggy, it was £25  but it covers the whole thing, which makes it look like I'm pushing a giant bin bag but it beats the stuffing out of those umbrella ones
I used to have a door bouncer for DD1, she loved it. It was helpful when I was cooking etc because it meant that I could put her in the doorway and she'd be occupied and safe.
Hi Delain. how are you? Just wondering do you go to any local baby groups? be nice to meet up maybe?
ps. you(everyone should join the FB group? create an account like Ro did:)
Can't believe DD is now 5months:eek:and i get married next month:eek:

Nappies are like clothes - different shops fit different people better in terms of them being tight/loose on the waist etc - so what brand works for one baby, might not work for another... some people swear by Huggies, but you don't know what shape or size baby you're going to end up with till they appear - hence stockpiling nappies being a bit riskier than stockpiling things like wipes (although again, some brands might not agree with your baby's skin).
Personally we started off with Pampers because she was so small when she was born (she was only a 4lb-er) that we needed the pre-size1 size which only really is easily findable in Pampers or Tesco makes. Found the Tesco premature size too bulky for her - but now she's size1/2 we chop and change between Pampers/Tesco/Asda quite happily... Asda Little Angels often get rated quite highly and when they're in size 2 it might be worth looking at the Kiddicare boxes of a month's-worth for about £20 (plus delivery) as well - I know a few people who say they're decent enough.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0
