i have no idea, since the baby was born my periods were very hit and miss, with my other two pregnancies i reverted back to my normal cycle almost straigt away, this time i just dont know what's going on:mad: however, i am happy about it, it'll be hard but i'll manageCongratulations Twinkle! When is the new addition due? At least when they are older they will be able to play together.
Skint, but happy (ish):p0 -
i must be mad eh?

You're a brave woman!!! Congratulations :j Hope you aren't suffering too much morning sickness!
Annabella my own doctor and the family planning clinic doctors told me to wait at least 12 weeks. They explained why, but i cant remember properly. Something about the cervix needing time to get completely back to normal, otherwise a false positive can happen and you'd need another test.
I've finally got the mini blender out and made banana pur!e. Am I suppose to sieve it though? Cos all the little black seeds are in it and he can't digest them, iykwim?First Baby born January 2007

Hello. Grumpy day today.
LO wouldn't sleep again so I was up pretty much from 12.30 to 4.45am when she finally gave up the fight and settled. Would have loved a lie-in but had to be at hospital for 9.45 appointment because of surgical repair to tear I got.
Got there, with baby in tow, receptionist seemed to think I should have brought a urine sample even after I pointed out the baby and made me toddle off to the toilets with a little pot (I really don't think pre-eclampsia is a worry now). Then when I get called through midwife chats to me a little then says that the consultant won't look at me, just as some questions.
So basically, all of that effort to be asked a few questions that boiled down to if I had any pain or incontinence and discharged on the basis of me replying that it all seemed fine - !!!!!! was the point of that?
To cap it all the registrar asked if I had had intercourse yet, I said no, he asked why not! I don't know, perhaps something to do with having had a baby come out of there not very long ago, then one of his colleagues swiftly head in with a bunch of surgical instruments to put me back together, only stopping bleeding a few days ago, having not had a night's sleep in forever, and just possibly - waiting to find out if I was healed up properly before doing that
His (obviously a him) opinion is that I can start up that activity again. For all he knows they might have stitched me shut by accident.
Right rant over! Congratulations twinkle!:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

If anybody is thinking of ordering a Ewan the Dream Sheep, they have them on IWantOneOfThose.Com for £26.99, and if you use your Tesco clubcard vouchers, every £5 is worth £10, so it doesn't work out too bad cost wise!
The voucher exchange is under gifts and games in the new clubcard deals section on the Tesco website.0 -
Congratulations Twinkle!0

Ro, I have the TT electric steriliser and I've had no probs with it at all. I wasn't expecting much as I'm not a TT fan and have returned/binned quite a few of their products but I'd happily buy the steriliser again:)
I'm another one who was told to wait a few months after the birth for my smear, I had mine done at 5 months and got the all clear last week:D
Thanks Claire that's v helpful I live in hope that we won't have pack up and return another steriliser to amazon lol it's arrived already so hubby will give it a bash no a gentle stroke tomorrow !0 -
