I wouldn't use a tots bots as they have the insert attached and I'd imagine the water at the pool may not be good for the insert. Something like a bumgenius outer or baba and boo outer or even a little ebay cheapie outer. All of those without the insert inx
turtlemoose wrote: »I can't stand Huggies pure wipes, too thick and they always bloody tear trying to get them out of the packet. Also they just sort of smeared the poo around rather than wiping it up. Had so many free packs of them (various vouchers etc) and was glad when they were gone! Actually I fib I've got 2 packs but they're in the cupboard for emergencies only as I got so sick of them. Johnson's in the pink packet for me, especially when I bought 60 packs for 50p each
I hate Huggies wipes, a sure fire way to get !!!!! on your hands, they just rip. Pampers sensitive here, hate how the front bit always rips off of the Johnsons ones, and then they go dryI do like them though!

Helllloooo, flying visit for me.
Glad to hear Aiden is getting out Sunshine, hope you have a lovely first night back home xx
With how much my A naps, I think taking him swimming might just finish him off  I do want to go though, there is a pool next door so I really should look into it. I didn't know about that pool for ages so thought it was just one quite a bit away.
I've been busying wrapping Birthday presents tonight for my Birthday boy :j can't believe he's almost one, no idea where the time has goneI made a trial rainbow cake during the week so I'm going to make the real one tomorrow ready for his little party on Sunday. Busy weekend. My OH also has a week off as of tonight :j he had no time off over Christmas at all except Christmas Day so first time we've had together as a family since November really except days here and there so very excited.

I made a trial of it this week, but with frosting rather than icing and after 600g of icing sugar  I still didn't have enough so just doing regal icing for the real deal. This is the trial and the frosting is a bit poopThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Morning all
Wow Gilly, that's an amazing cake! And yay for birthday party and your OH having time off - sounds like you've got a nice few days ahead of you
Turtle, Huggies wipes are useful for cleaning the toilet in between proper scrubbing. That's how I finished off my freebies - they're no good for anything else! Still haven't bought wipes since she was born, have another 10-ish packs of Johnsons and Pampers - like them both.
Not a bad night here - only one demand for dummy at 11.15 and then she was wide awake at 4.30, so I put her in bed with me and cuddled her back to sleep. Up for the day at 7.30, which is a proper lie-in these days
Not much planned for the weekend here - having brunch with a friend today, then need to do some cleaning and laundry and sort myself out for work on Monday
Hope everyone has a good day x0 -

Been thinking about Jannine and Poppy - anyone know how they're doing?
Sunshine, hope you had a good night at home and that Aiden is continuing to improve x0 -
fluffnutter wrote: »LOL. Great wipes though - I'm a big fan of huggies pure. Bonus that they always seem to be on offer too
Yay, I'm not the only one! I ordered about 40 or 50 packs from Toysrus at Christmas and have them stashed under my bed. They were on an ok offer and I thought I'd get enough to last me!

Swimming - we are going already (6 wks) - don't need to wait for jabs. You do need a really warm pool if they are this young though.
Cake you will need a helper because of the need to keep their head supported and the changing thing which takes forever!!
We are going to puddleducks. First pool was about 35 deg but it's hard to get to that one and as my monster is over 12lb now we are able to go to the 31 deg pool with a wetsuit but he does get cold compared to the 35deg one. Leisure centres here have their 'warm' pools at about 30 deg which I think is too cold for most small babies.
For the swim nappies most require double nappy-ing with a swim nappy inside (can get a reusable plain cotton thing) and a neoprene overnappy. Which is fun to get on/off...0
