Hi all
No change really here. I have asked 5 times now if someone will come and restick the tubes to his face as theyre coming off and theyve not done it. So everytime he moves they come out. Apparently they will do it when he has his anti bios at 10...so lets see.
He was alot more alert before bed. Managed to get him in the cot watching night garden and we got two hiyas and a mamma which is the first thing he has said for a couple of days. His resps for breathing are 60, around 30 is normal so hes pretty high. I had to strip wash him earlier on as he needed a bath.
Update nose tube redone. Thanks to OH who told the nurse she stil hadnt got it in!
Its def in now so hopefully he should sleep better. They still want to tube fee:Ad as he has had no solids but he has had little and often milk so I dont want thatLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

Glad they got around to the stickies. Must have been nice to see him perk up a bit.
Give him a big smooch and tell him to stop scaring us all! xxx0 -
Ro - well I must say you done a fantastic job.
I think we should all be allowed to put in requests for you to do our baby's cakes!!
X
I agreePeep and the big wide world is the current favourite here - unless of course you could make us a cake that looks like a cardboard box from Amazon!

Turtle, fingers crossed you'll have a good night, and yay for having your wardrobe back! I must admit I was relieved when LO moved into her own room - we kept waking each other up, and after a particularly bad night when I had a cold and had to try to avoid coughing until I'd ran into the loo and closed the door, I was literally begging OH to get her room sorted asap!0

Big hugs sunshine x
Marta waking up screaming doesn't sound right. Don't be fobbed off with "babies cry" Xx strange how she is ok after night feeds? Do you do anything different at night? X
Fluff- Freddie's video is ace I love his sleep sucking! Too cute!0 -
Hugs for Aiden, Sunshine
hope he perks up a bit.
I love Sunday nights, OH always works, so I get peace to do what I want. Currently stuffing nappies, with a massive hot choc and Elementary on the box! Pity he's finishing in 15 minutes...The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Thanks for the dummy replies - useful as always
I'm still not sure she'd be able to find one, given that she cries with her eyes closed, but maybe I'm underestimating her so I'll give it a go! She has one of these comforters and the ears are meant to be for dummies, but we've never used them for that - time to try methinks! Bamama, we do have a couple of those clip things - I've only ever used them on plane journeys and hadn't thought of using them at night, but might be worth trying.

Have spent the evening getting LO's stuff ready for her first settling-in day at nursery on Tuesday. Bottles, spare clothes and bibs washed and labelled, dummies unwrapped and sterilised... My maternity leave is officially over - I'm off for another week, but that's accumulated annual leave. Boooooo!0
