Glad they got around to the stickies. Must have been nice to see him perk up a bit.

Give him a big smooch and tell him to stop scaring us all! xxx

Will do. I am alot happier now the nose prongs are in. I kept habing to jiggle it about before and I am sure it was never right. Surely its not meant to move?

He has also just had 5oz of milk in one go which is alot atm. He has had an ounce here and there every couple of hours but this was all in one go so hopefully he settles with a full ish tum.

    Be back later probs xx

Moneypenny... I asked marta if she did anything different. She said no, other than the night is dark and quiet. Suggested trying to feed the same a couple of times in the day.

Worth trying Nutella... if she finds it on the plane she might find it in the day. Just pin it low enough that it won't wrap around her :)

Have spent the evening getting LO's stuff ready for her first settling-in day at nursery on Tuesday. Bottles, spare clothes and bibs washed and labelled, dummies unwrapped and sterilised... My maternity leave is officially over - I'm off for another week, but that's accumulated annual leave. Boooooo! :(

Just to say I know how u feel. I hope it all goes smoothly for you and her :) xxx

Sunshine - hopefully Aiden sleeps well now he has a full tummy. Big hugs to you all.

Nutella - :rotfl: at the amazon box!! I'm sure you would get a lot of questions and funny looks if she had a 'box' cake for her birthday!
    Hope Tuesday goes well.

On the plus side, an Amazon box cake would probably have chocolate icing, so I'm up for it!! Lol

Jessica has amazing eyes! Happy birthday sweetie!!

Sunshine, I think sometimes you have to be on top of them to do stuff! On my lo's birth, we have to ask several times for someone to get her weight! There was an emergency as soon as I finished and they all disappeared! I was alone in the room for 4 hours and they were going to move me to the midwife led unit at the end, one of them did it very quickly and asked us to remember the weight before disappearing without writing it down! I'm sure she wrote it wrong as well.. We both remember 3.018 and she wrote 3.108, which might have impacted the apparent weight loss by day 5, hence also all the BF issue. I think your OH did well in asking them to do it!

Moneypenny, as bamama said, just the darkness and the silence. I tried today to feed her in silence and with dim lights, plus I didn't make her wait at all, the bottle was warm, we just kept her upright without patting her to avoid stopping the nodding off, we avoided stimulating her whilst feeding or immediately afterwards... and so far so good. I think the upright position helped any reflux and the relaxing time made her get less air. She still cried in the cot because of trumping and emptying bowel, but we could call her with the dummy and in any case she just needed to do it and push! Much better today. Only two hours of evening crying, the rest has been brilliant but boring lol. I got a great.pic of her smiling after a feed with milk all over the chin lol, it was a while since last time she was.this happy with a feed. Sitting upright makes a bit of a difference! Thanks for the suggestions and concern!

Still catching up here - re vitamins my first hv visit brought vitamins for me and drops for baby. Banana flavoured drops - !!!!!!? Anyway, probably free from the gp if anyone wants :)

On the iron thing, why would you need to cut all your night feeds just to get iron up? Sounds like lazy logic.

Fluff if you normally put honey in have you tried date syrup?
