Aaron will be 1 in two weeks, he's still in our room, I'm not ready to let him go just yet :o He is in his own bed though and doesn't like being in ours so it's all good x

Thanks for the birthday wishes for Claudia everyone. I cant believe she (and therefore nearly this thread!!) is a year old. She looks so grown up now! This is she today at her party battering the hell out of some balloons.

Marta, it does sound like reflux, and if she has some wind as well, it makes it doubly bad. Silent reflux, which CJ had, can cause wind too in a round a bout way, as the only way they can soothe the burning is to drink milk, so they often try and down it too fast, and therefore get lots of wind, but then the wind stops the milk going down far enough, and increases the reflux.

Definately try the things i suggested for LadyMorticia. If it isn't reflux, it wont harm doing any of them, and if it is, then it should start to help quite quickly.
I would also say, make sure you change bums well before a feed, so you arent lying them down straight after when they are full. Ditto avoiding flat on play mats after a feed too. 20-30mins should do it. A good baby seat is a life saver.

George has been in his own room for about 3 months! Bad mummy, I was relieved for him to be in his own space - although I did sleep in with him for a little bit when his sleep was really bad. He's not had any trouble settling in there without me, never really occurred to me that he would...I'm so naive sometimes :rotfl:

We all sleep better since she moved into her own room - I think we were waking each other up when we were in the same room. Plus, I usually ended up staying with LO by myself so OH could sleep, so it's quite nice to sleep in the same bed as him again after months apart! :)

Kira, that's a lovely photo - she really does look grown up! Hope you all had a great time today - and that she's so worn out from battering balloons that she sleeps all night!
  • Hello all

Happy birthday to your little girl Kira! Gorgeous pic too!

My boy was christened today :) it was a lovely day and he had sooo much fun at the do afterwards. He spent most of the service just saying hiya hiya hiya!

He has been in his own room since 5 months old. He sleeps loads better in there too, although sometimes he ends up in our bed!
