Gosh that's one thing I don't like about bfing ,lack of alcohol. Me and Reu are off to my cousin's wedding reception tonight, it'll be the first time my extended family has met him so there'llb be a lot of fuss! And while i love the thought of that, a teeny part of me wishes I was gooing alone so could get absolutley smashed and be found at 4am hugging the loo singing come on eileen or other such wedding party classics0

Ha you don't really want to be 'that' girl do you turtle?! Have you not had any booze while bfing? I'm a bad mummy - I've had the odd cider or glass of wine. Only one at a time though. And some winter pimms on bonfire night. He's survived with no ill effects so far. In fact, we're at the in laws' for dinner now, wonder if they've got the usual bottle in the fridge…
And I'm damn well having my sherry on Christmas Day this year! Missed it last year with being preg but not this time, sure one sherry won't hurtNewborn thread member

Hey ladies
I have added myself to the list. Hope I have done it properly. I have waited until I have access to a laptop so hopefully it will work!
On the booze front, I have to admit to being a bad mummy too. I am having a large glass of wine tonight. LO is sleeping about 7 hours when he goes down around 7ish these days. Sometime he stirs, usually wind if he wakes up, but he doesn't need another feed until 2 or 3am even if he wakes. I figure it is out of my system by the time he feeds. Even if it isn't, the amount that gets filtered through, if any, must be miniscule. I know there are plenty of people who abstain and follow the government's (all male) advisers' line of "why take the risk?", but that isn't me. I can live with that

Evening ladies,
Noah has a top tooth!! Yay!!
He has been a poorly bubba today though, he has just wanted to sit with me and stare into space. He was fine at the school fete, maybe a little quiet but happy enough. Hoping he sleeps through tonight.
We bought our new Xmas tree today and lots of new decorations. We are going for the traditional red and gold theme this year. I love our new tree and can't wait to put it up tomorrow.

Well done Noah on the tooth, Jake is working on the second top one and boy oh boy has he been letting us know about it
Where did you buy your decorations Sammie? I'm looking to replace my trimmings but have only found tat that breaks as soon as you put it up so far. Where do people buy quality stuff that will last a few years these days?:A:A:A:A:A:A0 -
We bought ours from The Range Safesound. They look good quality and our tree has pine cones and berries already attached, again looks good quality. It is not overpriced either, we picked up large red bells for £2.99. Xx:)DS1 10yrs

Hi all
Just off to bed. Aidens been a bit restless since we put him down so hope he sleeps through.
Our xmas decs are a mix from matalan, bhs, next and wilko. They are all doing well, but only 3yrs old since we moved in here. Next ones are lovely but I got mine in the sale as they are quite pricey. xLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

SUnshine, I took him out to the lobby (it was in a hotel) for a feed and he fed and slept at the same time, for about 20 mins, then woke up - this was at half ten. He went to sleep 15 mins ago!! He was awake all that time! He was really good with all the noise and strange people, he absolutely loved the dicso lights. I've been considering buying a projector for his cot, thats cemented it for me cuz i think he'd love it0
