Morning All - Happy friday :j:j. So another month has passed us and I have tried to keep everything on track - So have been updating my signature..but basically at the end of October my figures stand as follows..

    CC's Total £25,900
    Loan Total £11,225.
So total still to work on is still a staggering £37,125. But when I look at where I started at the beginning of the year, its terrifying but at least I know if you focus a little you can achieve..Think I will be hitting the ebay over the weekend..these pounds are not going to shift themselves ( sadly):rotfl:. Anyway off to work I go...

Morning All - Welcome is Sunday.:j So rain is pouring outside and it is cold..I need to go shopping, so whilst waiting for the rain to ease a little I thought I would catch up on here..:D.
So I have listed a few things on ebay, gone through my bits brought so far for Christmas - I have done better than expected - I finished 3 already and except for 2 have bits for everyone else..Why oh why I never discovered this years ago i will never know :rotfl: Anyway it is going well - so i wont complain.
Also update my signature ( I cheated a little) as I have added in some payments that will be coming out next week. Did this today a not sure if I will get the change to update fully this week..But I am now in the 36's which is great.
Bit of a set back the mortgage fixed rate that finishes early next year, so we will have extra money each month that I planned to use for debts is going to have to stay on the Mortgage - long story and maybe sometime next year I will explain. The plus side is that it will go straight off the balance, so I suppose when I eventually get round to MF wannabe the debt will be lower..:rotfl: But hey means I need to be creative and find ways of making the difference up I wanted to use..Was thinking of getting a 2nd job but I work really long hours and I cant always be home at a set time..and the thought of weekend work again, fills me with dread as I did this for 16+ years and never really felt I was on top of anything..and I was permanantly tired..ho hum..will think of something..Or I may just accept it - and just be more frugal, rent DH out - very good at DIY and watching TV..usually at the same time :rotfl: mmm not selling it am I. Anyway thinking cap on as I really want to clear as much as I can by end of next year..
Anyway off to do more housework - Catch Up soon XX

Great to see you in the 36's Aamberle. I know what you mean about the second job, and you do need to have some time for yourself or you will be worn out, at least if the extra mortgage payments are coming of the balance you will be reducing another debt, so it's still progress :D

Morning All, Well welcome to freeze tuesday :rotfl:. I am sitting here updating this thinking in the next 15 minutes I am going to have to brave the cold and start deicing my car..you can definately tell winter is here...which in truth I do not mind, the sunny cold and clear days..its the rush to your system of cold air at 6am that gets to me, but then I suppose its one way to wake yourself up..:D.
Anyway update for today - having a little ( mini) crisis at home - DH found out yesterday that his job is to change in the next few months, and we cant work out if its for the better or not. I know we are very fortunate as he is keeping a job but the starting discussions that have happened - he may be away a lot more than he currently is but they have yet to firm anything up yet - we should get told by the end of the year..and his pay will also be affected - but again to be agreed..
Aww well I suppose we can just wait and see..I am trying to stay positive..I told him on the plus side if he is away more then at least the house will stay tidier :rotfl: and I can save on food bills as i will only cooking for me ...so can use the extra to pay bills..funny enough he did not think that was good planning or funny..men eh? :D
Anyway got to dash the cold awaits ...Have a good One XX

Morning All, Welcome to Thursday. Well update on the week so far..
Have had 2 x NSD's this week, and have also made an overpayment to one of the cards from some sales that have finally been paid.
DH - Had his meeting yesterday and was given a list of all the "redesigned" job roles that are coming into practice - all involve a lot more time travelling, but they say they will cover that in the benefits ( yet to be issued) but over the next few months they will be given an opportunity to apply for the one they feel best suits them/ they want to apply for and they will go from there...So we will see - as I said before - he still has a job and he says the jobs they showed him a few he says he would really quite like to do..which is a good thing. But I suppose we will see the pay etc before any decision is really made..I did say I thought that sitting on the sofa watching TV job description probably doesn't pay very much - so he may have to apply for another.:rotfl: Strangely enough he did laugh and say no he wouldn't apply for that as it included hoovering, dusting and general HW as it was homebased and he really did not feel that would be good for him long term..
Anyway off to work - have a great day xx

  • :hello: Aamberle! How are you? Sorry to hear about DH's job, that's rubbish news. I hope you find out what's happening soon, not knowing is the worst part as you can't make any plans! Won't seem as bad once you know for sure. Will keep my fingers crossed it's good news.
