Morning all and welcome to a very cold Thursday....Brrrrrrr.
So a quick update from me re the job front - no news
See told you it was quick..no seriously other than people from the new company appearing and walking round like they own the place ( oh they do - i forgot) and the atmosphere really sombre not a lot at this time has changed. At work I am all positive and very good etc but inside i am worried and stressed..had a big chat with Mr A and we have decided that I will sit it out and wait for whatever comes my way. As I am entitled to some kind of payout if the worse happens...I went to see the HR team and they worked out the minimum I would receive..its not huge, but it is enough for a few mortgage payments/ or a chunk of a debt, and as long as OH and I live on airballs and onions for awhile all is good..:rotfl: So not all bad..
Anyway on a positive it is amazing how something like that really makes you focus..I have NSD's since then without even trying to hard.. and my plan is that when I get my expenses at the end of the month I pay all of it to the smallest CC and so between now and then be as creative as possible trying to clear the balance so that it is another one kicked into touch..:T. Have listed all my DVD's and books now - split between Amazon and ebay, in my head thinking its Christmas - maybe they can sell quicker - and low and behold I have sold 2 books and a DVD in less than a day ..so that went straight to my CC. Have updated my signature as well - Am now in the 35's :j:j:j and will another couple of payments due out this month I reckon I can with some sales be in the 34's by the end of the year - well thats my focus. which would be an amazing position to be in..anyway enough rambling..
Thank you all for all your kind messages, it is really good to know i have friends I can ramble to if the need takes me
. Anyway off to go and check on some other diaries now, so will update later..
Have a great day all xxx2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.

Hi Aamberle,
Great news on the extra sales, I love how quickly those seem to add up
, and well done on the postive attitude, sounds like you have a contingenty plan, which is as much as you can do with the times as they are. Still keeping everything crossed for you.

Morning and Happy Friday..ooooh I am so glad we are nearly at the weekend, it has been a looooong week.Considering all that is going on at the moment, I still am working far far too late and as you can imagine the atmosphere is not the best..ho hum..I have an extra day weekend as I have Monday off and I cant wait
. Still no real news, i am told i have a "meeting" next week sometime..a few of the other managers have had thiers and I am told that nothing is really discussed they just tell you what they do and it is over in about 10 mins, they seem surprised that you may have questions and most of the time cannot answer anything at this time..:o So I will be a good employee until i know something definate..which by the sounds of it may be a while:rotfl:.
Anyway on a much more interesting note ..MSE :money: So I have started every morning paying the odd balance on my bank account ( pence) to a CC and it makes such a difference..last month I paid about another £20 that I would not usually and it keeps my OCD of round numbers in my bank under control :rotfl:. But I actually feel that everyday it is making a difference, which helps keep me focussed...and the thought that it is costing the CC more money than I am paying helps me feel a little happy too..kind of revenge for all the interest i have paid them over the years..
So finally sold airplane model ( not mine I hasten to add) or OH's it would seem as it has never been out of the box! Managed to get over £100 for it and the buyer seems really excited and collecting today and paying cash! So another payment to be made over the weekend :T.A few more watchers on some of the books that finish at the weekend, so all in all might make a little more of a dent than I expected this week which is always good.
Anyway off to read a couple of diaries before i need to leave for work..Have a good day XX2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.

Wow the £100 for the plane is great, :j
Shame they can't tell you more about your job, I sometimes think the waiting is almost worse, you can help imagining all sorts of things, hope things get sorted soon.
Great idea about paying the odd pence onto your CC, I always pay the odd pence of my CC, but then I really am OCD, or as I prefer to call it CDO, that way the letters are in the right order :rotfl:

Morning A

Even with the job thing lurking in the background you always sound so positive - it's positivity like this that keeps me smiling. As does the fact that when I get up @ 6.15 .... You are up and about as well ! In fact I read your updates whilst I have my first cuppa in the morning
Great news on the eBay plan sell ... That's amazing !! I really do need to get my backside in gear on this - I have a houseful of c*ap to get rid of
. My trouble is enthusiasm , or lack of !! I have looked everywhere for it and I just can't find it :rotfl:
Hope you and Mr A have a lovely weekend. Will keep everything crossed for good news on the job front - not knowing is indeed the worst part.
