Ok Morning All, yes I am a little later than usual today as I am having a day off :j Well I say a day off and what I really mean is a day off from work ..I am not that lucky :rotfl:..
So my weekend was good, have now completed all my Christmas shopping, put up the tree and wrapped maybe half the presents..it may be just me..but seriously how boring is present wrapping!! OMG even a glass of wine doesn't help the boredom..lol. So plane was collected and £100 was mine..:T:T:T..then I went to Mr T..oops...so now I only have £50.00 towards CC payments, but on a plus, the rest of the bits I need for the festive season is covered...and except for the choc orange that may have fallen into the trolley everything has been put away and will be used over this time, so not so bad considering..
i wont bore you with my plans for today, but they do involve, washing, ironing etc..but also cleaning out all rooms, so i dont start panicking next weekend that I have people coming to stay and have too much to do etc...
Then cards to write, presents to wrap, parcels to post, more listings to make..anyway the list is endless..DH went away this morning for a course back at the end of the week - so like a good wife, I got up and made him breakfast ( well tea and toast) while he got ready then said goodbye..then jumped back into bed, for another hour..lol:rotfl:...So got up at 8am instead of 5 so that was a nice treat..On the job front have a "chat" tomorrow apparently about next year, so that should be interesting..will let you know how that goes..but what will be will be...I cant change anything, yes I can worry ( and I do - A LOT) but if I need to change jobs, then I do. I can get one closer to home, so i save 3 hrs+ a day travelling, I also save on fuel and I am trying to focus on the positives..lol. Yesterday I was not as positive - when no one was looking there were a few tears - but I blame the christmas movie I was watching..:D. and the cat did not give me away..so think I am home free..
Anyway off now to do some more chores, hope to catch up later if not tomorrow am..
Happy Monday all xx2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.

Happy Tuesday Folks..It's fr fr freezing this morning, infact it is showing -5 on my phone for outside..so wont stay on here too long as I will the extra time to de-ice my car..oh the joys of winter. Anyways hope you are all well? I had quite a good day yesterday, nearly finished the wrapping..without the wine requirement, but actually ran out of paper..so will need to get some today..cleaned 2 rooms so they are now very sparkly and adjusted the tree decs - is it me or does anyone else get a little OCD about allignment of the baubles..no, guess just me then..lol.
Anyway still have a trillion things to do..so today I have "the meeting" but I also need to buy some more paper and tonight I will finish the present wrapping - so that will be another off the list..ok depending on how my mood is I will do that or I will clean.Either way something will get done
.
So made a payment to my CC today - and kept some back for the paper - so not sure if this still counts as an NSD as I am spending money for money I made..if it does great that means I have had 5 NSD's this month - :j. I am also very determined to be in the 34's by the end of the year, so a little focus on what will make me those extra £'s I think this week also.. Infact if I can finish at 34,873 then I will have paid off exactly £10k - now if that is not something to aim for I am not sure what is...so I need to find/make £389.00 between now and the end of the year...not too much to ask is it?? lol
Anyway hope you all have a great day and catch up soon XX2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.

Morning All and welcome to Wednesday...another cold one here..brrrr..but less than 2 weeks and a few days off..woohoo:j:j.
Quick catch up today - so had my meeting yesterday, did not really learn much except they are VERY VERY busy and they could not understand why me or my team were concerned about thier jobs..go figure. Anyway it then turned around, and eventually after far too long I think it became apparent that I may be looking in the big wide world next spring..clearly nothing is official and it will tick along like a very slow explosion that could happen at any time - not great for morale I can tell you
But whilst the tick tick ticking continues I will be pay pay paying as much as I can so when the eventual happens I can safely say I have done everything i can to prepare...
Which means I know it is there, but i want to stop talking about it - and go back to what this site is about kicking the debt into touch..:money: So with a new reason to get up and get organised I will be boring everyone with my creative ways of bringing in the pennies to clear all this :rotfl:
So last night I added up my change from the jar and bagged what I could - so I have another couple of £ towards my debt..I know it is not much but it all adds up - my new target is to clear one of the CC by end of Jan. Obviously the smallest one ( life is not that lucky) but once my expenses have been paid to me at the end of the month - I think I have £500ish I need to pay to clear it..but with not travelling for a week or so and having complete NSD's through the festive season, and some sales hopefully between now and then I am hoping to have less than that to find so I think it is doable. that will be a good feeling for 2013 that I say bye bye to another one right at the beginning of the year - then I only have 3 left :j Yes they are much bigger but chip chip chip away and they soon get smaller...
Anyway must get on and go to work... Have a great day xx2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.

That's not helpful is it? At least they could give you a definite timescale. But, in the meantime, try and pay off/save as much as you can, so that if and when it happens, you'll be in a better position

Have a good day xBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Hi Aamberle,
sorry to hear you couldn't get anything definite from them, but love your attitude to forget about it and get on with debt busting. Fingers crossed for you expenses coming through soon.
