Having read the thread, have I missed anywhere?
Still need maybe one or two further options but it looks like most options have been considered!!0 -
Redford,I've just found the NDR route, which may be useful: http://www.norfolk.gov.uk/view/NCC074053
Plus, lurking somewhere in my saved emails I've got some more precise maps should you wish to look in greater detail at specific areas.0 -

Agreed - already suggested Blofield and Brundall; forgot about the Plumsteads.:T0 -
Brother lives in little Plumstead, not somewhere we have really considered!! Nice houses and a decent area but at this stage we are looking at alternatives!0

The new houses around Tesco in Sprowston are hideous - who wants to live on a roundabout?! I can see why they are either HA or unsold! Attleborough to me has always felt a little "out on a limb".
Totally agree. Those houses seem to have hardly any front garden to them at all.Unappealing at any price.
Having said that, I think Sprowston is an OK suburb. I can't comment on how good the schools are. This, Old Catton and Thorpe St Andrew would be my preferred suburbs. Very quick access to the city centre from the east/north east of Norwich.Generation Rent0 -

My mate has a house in Little Plumstead -on the new estate to the south of the village on the former hospital site. Nice house and area but I think he wishes he bought in Norwich now.Generation Rent0 -
FINAL NORWICH SHORT LIST
1. Thorpe St Andrew
2. Wymondham
3. Hethersett
4. Poringland
5. Spixworth
6. Dereham
Now got to arrange a few days in the next couple of months and take a good time walking around these areas, chatting to people and to research all the schools.
Thanks everyone who has commented on this thread, been a massive help!!0
