    Coltishall has poor links - no train station into town, and used to be an air base town - that has now closed, and I think is a prison, but google would see you right ont hat.

    Broadland High is, along with Aylsham, (wroxham again) still regarded as one of the best two in the north of the county mufti.

    NORWICH SHORTLIST;

    1. Thorpe St Andrew
    2. Wymondham/Hethersett (though possibly too £££)
    3. Poringland
    4.???
    5. ???

    Decided after much research, Attleborough all though very nice and with good aminities is getting away from what our move is all about, being in and around Norwich, it's just too far out and too much of a compromise!!

    Sean, I lived in Coltishall for 20 years. No train, but that applies to most of Norfolk. It's not a town, it's a village, and the old airbase was about 3 miles away, and had no effect on it whatsoever apart from some interesting aircraft flying overhead and a few bob spent in the local economy. The new prison likewise - might as well be on another planet; you might as well say there's a prison in Norwich, so don't live there either:D. It's a lovely place, but expensive, and there are many good reasons for that.
