There is the Crown and Anchor, East of the Strip, that may show it, and its open 24 hours http://crownandanchorlv.com/index.html

You could maybe email them and check?

We went there the first time we went to Vegas to watch a Scotland world cup qualifier game at 7am - great atmosphere! x

we're going in september and will be looking to watch the scotland v macedonia game on the 11th. Just realised that england are playing ukraine at the same time. What are the chances this pub shows both? or that anywhere will show the scotland game over the england one?

I might be going on a bit of an impromptu trip at the start of April. Leaving on either 31st Mar/1st Apr/2nd Apr for 7 nights maybe, flying from London.

Has anyone booked through IceLolly? I'm finding insanely cheap prices there, like return flights and 7 nights at the Luxor for GBP 580?

Is the flight direct or in-direct?

Virgin have direct flights in March about £550. And I'm guessing the 7 nights at the Luxor will be £580 each. So if flying direct was a big deal for you guys, (which it would be for me) I would book with Virgin and sort a hotel myself. If you're travelling with a mate I'd do it, if with a lady I'd def plump for a direct flight and a nicer hotel.

My friends are going to Las Vegas in May for a week.

I am planning on booking now, oviously will be seperate booking to my friends. A few things tinklerling in the back of my mind are:

would it be acceptable to book into a different hotel?

Is travelling between hotels/down/up the strip quick?

would i still be able to use the pool of their hotel(Excalibur)?

    Thanks in advance

are there ever any deals (on flights and/or hotels) to be had for last minute trips with direct flights?

would prefer to fly direct, but flights in jul/aug/sept are all pretty standard at about £700pp and not nearer the £500 mark which would be great!

we have stayed at different hotels to friends...it's good if you want some time to yourselves, can be a bit of a pain when trying to figure out where to meet up, etc...unless people know Vegas fairly well. Whether it's acceptable or not depends on you and the friends, really...The first time we went, we stayed in the same hotel with a friend...got to our room and had a message from her as she had checked in earlier - it was hubby's first time in Vegas so we decided to sneak down to the casino for 30 mins, then come back and call her...naturally, ran into her in the lift on the way downstairs 'oh, hey! no we didn't get your message, did you leave a message?'

Travel time between hotels depends on which hotels...distance between two hotels next to each other varies too...I guess it depends on what you mean by 'quick' and what method of travel you choose, and when (taxis can be really quick, but not so mcuh certain times of the day)...monorail can be quick, if you're travelling between 2 hotels with monorail stops (though the walk from the monorail stop to X part of the property can be a bit of a haul)...walking can be slow during crowded times at various bottlenecks...so too many variables.

If you were with them, I would imagine you would not have trouble joining them at the pool
