To anyone thats flown via Atlanta airport......is 1 hour 40 mins enoungh to clear immigration and get through to the connecting Vegas flight.

Delta have now changed my flight for the 3rd time since booking and I'm worried. Also exteremly fed up with them messing me around.

I have but it was a long time ago

you have to collect bags and clear immigration

I wouldnt want to do it with that short time, but they will put you on the next flight anyway so I guess you have nothing to lose by keeping that flight booking

someone who has done it recently will advise i am sure

You can get an idea of average processing times here - if you use seasonal monthly averages, choose your month and day of the week you can get some idea what to expect:

It isn't perfect and won't include times to get to your connecting flight, etc...but will at least give you a starting point...I wouldn't want to do it, but like photome says, they will have to get you to Vegas on a later flight...maybe worth checking later flights to see what is on offer...won't mean they have room, but at least if you know that they have several later flights that you'll get there eventually...they may put you on a partner airline as well.

I used a specific Signature code - R79599 for 20% off. Ive just tried the code for $65 dining credit and it comes in at $615 for a 1 bed suite on my dates and the code i used is $492 so dont think it does include the 20% off too, give the code i used a try for your dates and see if its any better!!

I shall do! Cheers. Couldn't find that code anywhere, and the only MGM code I found was for the Grand.

Edit: Looks like the same price for me. Cheers for that though. :T

£650 each including internal with a direct flight in to the USA - is this reasonable, could I expect anything better?

Thanks for the advice on Atlanta. There is a later flight which we are goign to switch onto. It means a 4 hour wait but would rather do that than worry about missing our connection.

Last year our AA flight was slightly late into Chicago then I had issues with my visa. We were sheduled onto a later flight which was great however that is at the "desk's discretion" which I don't want to rely on.

This is the 3rd change to our Delta flights since we booked in October. Is this common?

try Skyscanner for checking prices of flights on different days.

For September, currently showing £521pp as best price for indirect flights and £697pp for direct flights.

depends if you want those couple of nights in SF or not :)

I take it that doesn't include the hotels in San Fran

As secretmachines has pointed out for that price you should be able to get direct there and back.
(Also I don't like the time of the SFO to LAS flight)

If you do want a stop over in SFO I'd say you could get a cheaper price.

Fares to SFO should be about £500 and a single fare from SFO to LAS can be as low as £44.

I use Kayak to search for fares

Problem then is you are booking two separate Itins so no easy changes can be made.

has anyone tried to blag an upgrade at the Cosmo before just by asking? I've booked a City room but seen that they only do 2 queens and not one King. Gf won't be pleased (or maybe she will:p)
I'm wondering whether to chance it and act all suprised that we'll be stuck in two seperate beds for our stay hoping to score a free upgrade to a balcony room.

    That's not too bad really.

I did a lot of research last September/October for flights this May and we're now going with United as they were the cheapest.

Flying from London to Chicago, then Chicago to LV, then LV to SF (as to get back from LV it was a change via SF anyway), and then SF back to London, with a few days in each location.

Even doing direct flights to LV and back with internal flights it wasn't cheaper. Ours were around £750 each which didn't seem too bad to me (all direct flights, no stops).

As mentioned before, Kayak is very good for 'multi-city' tickets.

we got upgraded from a terrace studio to a wraparound suite for free. girl asked if we were there for anything special told her we were getting married (we were) so there might be some scope for a free upgrade if you get the right person in the right mood!
