    Hi all,

Please can someone help me with this.

I am a massive F1 fan, and I am going to Vegas in March and the first day I am there, there is a race on!! Well planned I know!

Please can anybody tell me if there is anywhere in Vegas that i can watch it.

I have found the Queen Victoria pub in the Riveria, but their website doesnt seem to of been updated for abit, so no idea if its on there.

It doesnt help that its on at 1am :)

Does anyone know if any of the sport books will show it?

    Thanks

What F1 race is that? Thought the Australian GP was the first race on March 18th.

Its the Malaysian GP, its the following weekend :)
  • One of the larger sports books is your best bet. Check nearer the time for which ones will show it. If you remind me in a few weeks I'll ask some friends where it will be on. :)

    Thank you :)

I will check the larger sports books. I am staying at the cheap and cheerful Circus Circus so im guessing that that isnt one of the bigger ones :) Though I see they have had a refurb

March cant come quick enough!! :D

    Thanks again Dee

Arent' most sportsbooks closed at 1am though?

Hubby solved his F1 problem by getting a slingbox, so he can log into our laptop/netbook and access our Sky from the hotel. :)

There are other options like JustinTV, etc...though that's more difficult.

Plus, with the Slingbox, I can watch crap I have recorded on Sky too if I want. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Thanks for the comments on the LON --> SFO --> LAS --> LON flights.

I used Kayak initially and then clicked through to United. For an extra £10 I can get an afternoon flight on the sunday to Vegas, so will probably do that.

I might be going on a bit of an impromptu trip at the start of April. Leaving on either 31st Mar/1st Apr/2nd Apr for 7 nights maybe, flying from London.

Has anyone booked through IceLolly? I'm finding insanely cheap prices there, like return flights and 7 nights at the Luxor for GBP 580?

Icelolly are just a search engine. You will need to post the name of the actual agent they are suggesting.

There is the Crown and Anchor, East of the Strip, that may show it, and its open 24 hours http://crownandanchorlv.com/index.html

You could maybe email them and check?

We went there the first time we went to Vegas to watch a Scotland world cup qualifier game at 7am - great atmosphere! x
