Fight announced for 5 May, Mayweather v Cotto. If you are going this weekend and haven't yet booked, expect rates to be rising rapidly.

MGM seen to have been anticipating there would be a fight as their rates have been consistently high for that weekend for months.

Mayweather has had the arena booked since October/November of last year. He just had to find someone to fight!! Not too excited for this one - Cotto is hardly Pacquiao. But free tickets are free tickets :D

The prices for this weekend would be high regardless of the fight as it is Cinco de Mayo.

Hi everyone - really interesting thread, going to Vegas in 25 days and cannot wait! We're going for my husbands 30th and I'm trying to work out which show to take him to see, I'm torn between Cirque De Soleil Ka and Cirque De Soleil Viva Elvis (I really want to see a CDS show!) - my husband is an Elvis fan and he's worried he won't see an Elvis while we are out there. Has anyone seen either of these shows? What are your thoughts?

Have seen Elvis and not really impressed,my mum has seen both (along with others) and rates Ka as one of her favs. Stage is spectacular apparently....

    Have a great time!:)

    blimey: that sounds nasty :-(

Our plan was indeed for 3 nights in August, so the extra charge per person : perhaps that is just how it is ! & I know it is not Bellagio-extravagent, but as part of a 26-day tour, it feels a step above the "Travellodge" next door (which is, of course, another option !)

thx for comments, nothing booked yet ;-)

Not seen Elvis but KA was fantastic

We have seen Viva Elvis. OH enjoyed it, I just thought it was OK.

One reason for seeing it is that it is finishing this year and there may be more opportunities to see Ka in the future if you go back.

Forget all this Cinco de Mayo day malarky.

May 4th is Star Wars day, and everyone knows the following day is the revenge of the 5th

Fell askleep the first time I watched the Elvis show, enjoyed it a lot better the following week, though there were not as many crashing falls by the acrobats.

Does anyone have any experience of booking with LowCostUSA?

They are coming in with the cheapest price for our 7 nights we want at Mandalay Bay @ £755 with Resort Fees included. This is a total pre-payment.

Even with a 20% off offer, booking direct with the hotel is coming in at £954 plus we would have $154 in Resort Fees to pay on check in.

Although I have booked with third party websites before, I am just a bit nervous becuase I havent booked with LowCostUSA or know anyone who has - are they reputable?

    Thanks!!
