There are a couple of good ones on the market. I use satnav2 which for the entire world maps is only £8, or just the U.S. for £5. You can choose which ones to download at a time to save on storage. You do not have to use any data as the files are on the phone.

Excellent thanks Stoneman. Don't know why I didn't think of doing this before

It has been $7.95 for at least a year, so maybe they are mistaken. I'll email the restaurant manager when I get home, don't have his direct email on this little computer.

It was $7.95 last time I had it, I think that was 2 years ago, but I did wonder if they may have got it wrong

Hi am off to vegas in March, can anyone tell me which restaurant.com vouchers are best to get. So far i only have Harley Davidson and will get stripburger ones when they become available again. I am staying on the strip and will not be renting a car so pref restaurants on the strip.

    Thanks

Those are probably two of the better ones to get on the strip. If you want to splurge a bit then there is Mix or Stripsteak at Mandalay Bay, but check the prices on the menu first before you commit.

Steak special at Ellis Island is now $9.99 according to Vegaschatter

unlisted steak special at Ellis Island: 10 ounce steak, potato, green beans, and a house-brewed beer for $9.99 (up from $6.95).

This is one of the things that we tried based on the great reviews and we just were not fussed about..but I know loads of people love it. To us it was just OK...decent value, sure...but better things out there for us. We go for the BBQ instead (now I have to check prices!)...as for steak specials, we much preferred the $7.77 deal at Mr Lucky's which we likely would have never tried had it not been for the suggestion of the all knowing and all powerful pebblesmax. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
  • Although we've not had the off-menu steak special at Ellis Island we had noticed that there was $1 increase last year on the BBQ ribs/chicken platters from when we went in 2010.

Even if they go up another $1 this year its still a great deal and we'll be all over it again in a few weeks time!!
