CASINOSThis is my favourite thread of mse and I just can't help popping back in to read up when I get back online. Hope you're all well and planning for your next trip.
Happy New Year!

Hi all,
I have just successfully booked the Cosmo through the Marriot look no further guarantee. I booked a terrace 1 bed for $200 with them but found a cheaper rate on netflights so have got it down to $122.
Fully refundable too if i decide to cancel before June.0 -
SHOWSI love the Marriott Look No Further program-My last stay the receptionist asked me how I'd managed to get my rate as it was even cheaper than he could get as staff. (Asked in a nice way)I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -

CASINOSJust booked my seat on the upper deck. What are the pros and cons of the upper deck, if any? Always flown "downstairs" before so was just looking for something different, still economy thoughIt's someone else's fault.0

we sat in the economy bubble for the return leg of our trip last September... it was good on the whole, it does feel like a private cabin! the window seats are great as you get more space to your side, there's a bag storage locker underneath the window. plus obviously, you get served quicker and let on/off first
the only downside would be if you got a noisy/annoying stag party up there, as there's no much room for escape or for the noise to travel!
otherwise, seat pitches, etc. are pretty much the same as the main body of the plane.0 -

Thanks, I've booked the aisle seat right at the back, I prefer the aisle to the window. It's someone else's fault.0 -
ellis island steak/beer is now only $7.99 if you have their players card, otherwise it's $11, same for the BBQ I think but not sure on prices.0

that reminds me - it used to be you just showed your players club card at the BBQ to get the member price...now you have to go to a kiosk and swipe your card, enter your PIN and chose the option for the BBQ voucher and it prints one out and you give that to your server...one per table, you don't need one per person (which we found out after taking turns to go to the kiosk).Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Well hello everyone, long time no see.
Thought I would stick my head in and see what is going on with all things Las Vegas.
Glad to see you are updating my Original front page guide. It was back in December 2007 when i wrote it. back when a direct BMI flight cost us £298 each and LA cost just £30 quid more a few months later.
Well having a Daughter has curtailed my Vegas Visits for at least another 10-12 years i would say. Last year it was sunny Norfolk for us, but we had a great time.:T
I still look at the Las Vegas holiday photos. I wonder how much it would have changed when we eventually get back.Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0
