HOTELSHi guys!
Things still to do....
Book 5nts on central Vegas strip - As we are trying to budget, we would like to get a decent room ( we are gettin hitched after all!) for about £50 p/n - is this achievable? It's our 1st time in Vegas too! Do you think we'd get an upgrade - is it worth the risk?!
It seems no offers are around yet for our dates - 30th Aug - 4th Sept, but we wondered if we should book accom early cos of Labour Day (3rd Sept), or is it better to wait?
August should be cheap as it's HOT in Vegas,Frid\Sat will be more expensive
Research hotels and IMHO wait for a bargain to come up
My brother and his wife have booked at Mirage 29th Aug - 5th Sept, is this central? Any downsides?
Book flight from LAS - SFO for 4th Sept - Flightcentre wanted £92p/p - I thought this was a little steep? I know it's after Labour Day, so wondered if it's best to book early?
Look at Southwest and book early to get cheap prices
Are there any extra baggage fees / taxes that we need to consider with such internal US flights?
Book 4 nts in San Francisco - Room rates seem more expensive (expected), but can anyone recommend a decent hotel / b&b that's good value/location?
Look at Priceline
Hire a convertible to drive down the West Coast! - Gunna look at CarHire3000, as mentioned, but needed advice on best way to book....
Internet
We are hiring a car after we check out of San Fran on the 8th Sept, and spending 4nts along the coast (where, we just don't know! advice greatly received!),
Go to Hearst Castle evening tour stay near San Simeon for that
So my question is...do we drop the car off before we check into our hotel in LA or do we leave it in the hotel car park and drive to LAX ourselves and drop it off there before boarding our return flight back home? - Just worried about the crazy LA driving! and we have never driven outside UK also!?!
Depends on time of return flight and if the hotel has a free shuttle

But it's a bank holiday weekend...
If it was me, I would book a back-up, refundable hotel well in advance and then keep looking...just in case.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

I would book now at that price! It is likely to go up. My Mum booked her flight with them 2 weeks before departure and it was £750+Lucky wins - Rituals Beauty Advent Calendar; Starbucks Coffee & £20 Gift Card; Amazing Hen Weekend at Dunblane Hydro; Heat Magazine Book Bundle; Le Crueset Goodies :j

There is a big list of websites recommended for promo codes on Page 1 of this thread, under Popular Times.
I've found that signing up for the hotels mailing list, via their website, and 'liking' them on Facebook ensure that I am sent regular promo codes.
I also downloaded an app called 'Viva Las Vegas, Baby!' (which is excellent for planning Vegas trips), and they regularly advise promo codes for all the hotels. That's where I got a promo code for booking Encore which is still cheaper than I've found on any other site.Lucky wins - Rituals Beauty Advent Calendar; Starbucks Coffee & £20 Gift Card; Amazing Hen Weekend at Dunblane Hydro; Heat Magazine Book Bundle; Le Crueset Goodies :j

I can recommend Presidential Limos. It was around $60 for an hour and that included a bottle of champagne and a rose for the ladies.0
