CASINOSKids hey. I have gotten my lad and his mate a really great deal at the Platinum in November (I am paying for it as a present for his birthday) $119 a night. All great until sons mate's friend comes home from Vegas filing his head with stories. Now friend wants to bale from Platinum and stay at the Mirage, he is convinced that they can pay for a standard room and get upgraded for free at check-in. There must be something major on when they are going because I did a dummy booking and even with players card discount the room will cost over $850 including tax and resort fee, for 5 nights!!
I have offered to slap sons friends head if he opens his trap again. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -

He's 31. Let me see, an 1100 sq ft suite with washing machine, full kitchen, shower, jacuzzi, balcony, separate lounge and bedroom, free WIFI and gym, 7 minute walk from centre strip for $600, or a 350 sq. ft. room with none of those except for the shower, 7 minutes walk from centre strip for $850. (I am not paying the difference)The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. Depends when in November you've booked. There is US Thanksgiving, usually an IT conference and at the end of the month there is a marathon. I'm doing the marathon and I've heard people are arriving around Nov28 to get er, acclimatized.
I'm paying around $800 for 5 nights at the Venetian.0 -

Well obviously I checked for the time he is going, not just random dates, that would be a bit sillyThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. SHOPPINGWell, if he's going during the marathon time, there an issue as if he's planning on going during the IT Conference.
One year we were stumped as to why the week we wanted was so expensive, answer the IT Conference. Geeks take over Vegas. Could have been worse, we could have tried to book during the !!!!!! Stars/Producers Convention.0
