On another note.
I did laundry yesterday before going to the Vegas Internet M a f I a Family Picnic #VIMFP.

It was the Vegas gang podcast crew, fivehundybymidnight and vegastripping collaborating on a podcast extravaganza. Hunter from the Vegas gang interviewed Derek, the CEO of the D downtown, and it was very interesting. It was longer than I expected, and Tony got bored, but it was a good day.

Finally relented and paid to pre-book seats on our BA flights to LV .I really wanted the twin seats and could'nt take the risk of not getting them.Is it just me or does anyone else hate sitting in a row of three or four and feeling claustraphobic??

You're not alone I too have bitten the bullet & paid BA for the twin seats on flight home. Got them free with virgin on flight out. Mind you both flights are reward flights so I suppose I shouldn't moan.

Photome - sorry you have been so unwell and hope you're at the end of it...so far the First Defense/OJ/Airborne seems to be keeping it at bay at least...I feel very run down and weary but have so far managed to keep the actual cold symptoms that will make Vegas most miserable at bay.

Pebbles...well done on the laundry! And glad the weather is shaping up...see you next week!

Totally non Vegas related musings about airports as my next flights are out of Stanstead next month .........and now trying to decide if I'm going to fly from Gatwick or Southend to Ireland in January.

Don't really want to ask on the general forum as I'll only get irritated with the idots but if anyone has any thoughts about Southend airport (slightly shorter by both car and train than Gatwick but only 2 flights a day versus 4 from Gatwick so I'm thinking in case of weather delays Gatwick may be better)
