    SHOPPING
Hi, I know I have read about this in previous posts but can someone tell me wether there is some form of zoo/animal experience other than the dolphins/ tigers which we have already done twice.I am looking for something for OH to do whilst I go shopping for the day!!!
He loved the Secret Garden but I was sure I had seen something on here that everyone had said was better than that.
    Many thanks in advance.

if he will have access to a car and you'll be shopping on one of their open days Roos 'n More would be worth a visit.

    http://www.roosnmore.org/

Limited days they are open to the public though.

There is a zoo in Vegas, we haven't been because the reviews are pretty horrible and I think it would ruin the trip for us to even try it.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Thanks fearful, that's it.No we don't hire a car,we tend to do taxis and buses.I am just trying to find something different for him to do then he is not tempted to come and ruin my day(reminding me how much I am spending!!)

He could try Springs Preserve. You can reach it by bus and it is close to Meadows Mall. The LV natural history museum is there too.

Hovis - One time I dropped Kevin off at the Atomic Testing Museum. No idea if your OH would like it, but thought I would mention.

One thing we haven't done yet in 7visits is the pawn stars shop visit even tho we say every time we will go.The last time we meant to go we ended up exploring Stratosphere instead and I did all three rides whilst OH refused to even look over the side!(hence the reason I suggested the zoo for him!)

it's great to go to if you watch the show, get there early on a weekday to avoid queues, they open at 9am... but you'll be there 30mins tops... all the shop floor you see on the show, is all there is to 'explore' - almost half the store is a merchandise area. we watch the show and definitely worth making the trip to get some photos, but there's really not much to see and won't kill much time.
