WEATHERgotcha, yeah ive looked at the numerous travel options, what about:
Trump hotel?
found 2 nights in a Studio suite for £120!
thats a 5 star place isnt it?0 -
Trumps allegedly nice, but I dont think *anyone* here has ever stayed there. Also a bit of a walk to mid strip, but prob no further than Encore. No casino there so you wont be able to pop down for a flutter when you feel like it.illegitimi non carborundum0

VALUE FOR MONEYCaesars Palace Bacchanal Buffet Walkthrough
http://www.vegastripping.com/news/blog/4750/video-caesars-palace-bacchanal-buffet-walkthrough/
I didn't think I was fussed, but after seeing that I might just have to try it.
We went a couple of days after it opened and were really impressed. Similar to Wicked Spoon in terms of food presentation, such a vast range and excellent quality. Bit of a line to get in, but well worth it. Soft drinks are included in the set price too.0 -
Seen a couple of posts lately about "Food & Beverage Credit" "dining credit" included, when pricing up hotels, I havent seen it on any pricing up I've done
Is this something that some tour operators throw in, or is it some type of voucher?
Thanks0 -

SHOWSI think where-ever you stay there is a risk you will encounter the odd drunk in the hallways (I'm also cautious of "friend's" claims.....bit like tripadvisor sometimes you hear/read things that are at such odds with your own experience in the same place that you have to wonder if they lost big in the casino and it coloured their opinion
)
That said PH has never appealed to me as there are nicer rooms available nearby. The rooms aren't bad I just like more space.
I never thought a balcony was important in Vegas.......until I was upgraded to a suite that happened to have one-and it's a really nice bonus to have.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Nothing wrong with PH especially if you can get a resort room overlooking the fountains. Its a bit of a hip hotel/casino so does get a younger noisier crowd but then agin if you are in Vegas over a weekend it will be noisy everywhere and because it is a party town you will se drunk people, dont let that put you off.
Luxor has the attraction of staying in a pyramid but as said is a long walk
EDIT just read Duchys reply which echos my comments about the drunks and like her I wouldnt even read tripadvisor0 -

Usually it's offered by the hotel direct. You charge F&B back to your room and it's deducted from your bill at checkout.
Not sure where you've looked at rates but if you look at somewhere like https://www.vegas.com you'll see a few f&b credit offers.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

SHOWSThink this is a bit OTT, but I'm sure there are people who would part with good money for it.
As part of renovation, MGM Grand to offer rooms that promote wellness

If I was looking for a wellness experience I'm not sure I'd be picking Vegas with smoking in the casinos etc but it'll be interesting to see if this sells.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

I thought it was worth mentioning as it's a new one and most people won't have been yet. Alcohol supplement is $15.99.0
