    Caesars Palace Bacchanal Buffet Walkthrough

    http://www.vegastripping.com/news/blog/4750/video-caesars-palace-bacchanal-buffet-walkthrough/

I didn't think I was fussed, but after seeing that I might just have to try it.

Us too - even if the video made me slightly dizzy with the jumping around. :)

We think we'll try to do a strategic BOB 24-hours, provided we agree to enter into it with the understanding that we are NOT going to stuff ourselves multiple times...we think it will be decent value even if we get an early dinner here, breakfast the next morning at Paris and then maybe a snack somewhere before it runs out...we quite like the idea of knowing we've already paid for it and if we're peckish we can pop into one of the buffets and grab something...not approach it as a buffet but as a quick source of a quick snack if we want.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

We will probably check the Bacchanal buffet out too.

I really like that idea - don't know why we've never thought of it before. I'm afraid DH and I are the idiots who usually sit and stuff ourselves until we can't move, then spend the rest of the day feeling fat and uncomfortable :embarasse . We'll maybe try to engage our brains this time!!

    Buffet Of Buffets -

Which are the best options out of the restaurants listed, and are some better or worse for say breakfast or dinner?

For context, we aren't normally buffet fans but this looks like a great deal (we'd just do it once).

We went to the Wicked Spoon twice and still dream about it, if that gives you an idea of what we like

    Many thanks :T
  • Really appreciate people's comments as not been before so really have no idea.

    Highland_Lass,
I'm not sure I'm allowed to send PMs because of only having a couple posts on here.
If it didn't reach you I will post in the thread, if thats OK.

We usually do breakfast at Paris, lunchtime a quick bite at Flamingo and the dinner at Spice Market PH. However when we go in October we are going to try the new one at Ceasers as it seems to be a hit on here.We have had buffet at Harrahs before and it was good but the one at Rio completely overwhelmed me,I just found it was too much( if there is such a thing in Vegas!)

Trumps allegedly nice, but I dont think *anyone* here has ever stayed there. Also a bit of a walk to mid strip, but prob no further than Encore. No casino there so you wont be able to pop down for a flutter when you feel like it.

I've stayed there. It is indeed very nice. Only reason we haven't returned is that it is 10 degrees hotter at their pool because of the mirror effect of the building. It's unbearable sitting out there early September. Of course, if we went at a cooler time of year it would be a place we'd definitely consider returning to. You can also take their regular shuttle to the front door of the Wynn, or walk through Fashion Show Mall (which we did quite a bit). It's really really nice.

Best value would be to have late dinner, b/fast, lunch, early dinner. Add a snack in there too if you like, but remember that the lines can be time consuming so might not be a quick snack. We did this last year or the year before, and saw the Flamingo buffet was quiet so decided to stop for a snack before a show. That buffet is absolutely awful and not to be recommended, same goes for Imperial Palace.

Rio is pretty good, Harrah's is ok. Paris is rated highly but I've never been. I used to like Planet Hollywood's but not been in a while so not sure how it is now. Is Caesar's included? If so definitely try that.
