Where is wi fi free these days? Staying at the Cosmo. Booked through Lowcostusa so not expecting it in the package.

PH over the road has some free spots, I know Earl of Sandwich does and I love the sandwiches there! Ok so not free if buying a sandwich. I believe my son was messing on his iphone in the miracle mile outside Earl and he still got wifi. It can be a busy place (miracle mile) with sparodic seating so may not be best place depending on what device you want to use. Iphone fine, laptop maybe not....

Starbucks in PH has free wifi and you don't have to be in there. Sit in the comfy seats at the bar next to it, the one with the stage, and you pick up Starbucks wifi perfectly from there.
If the Starbucks wifi isn't working (it wasn't on a couple of days we were there) Sephora has free wifi that you can also pick up from the seats, oh as well as the BCBG store. Honest, it beggars belief how many places have unsecured wifi
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

According to Walgreens' website, they do a basic coffee maker for $14.99 (if you can't be bothered trekking to Walmart). I'd never have thought of buying one for the room before reading on here :)
We saw some in the new Walgreens next to Panet Ho. They were on a corner.

I don't drink coffee so the lack of a coffee maker hasn't been an issue for me. I was at Vdara in April though, pretty sure they had one in the room then. I tend to just have an ice cold lager when I wake up.

There is a laundry room at the sig. They have plenty of dryers and washing machine, the washing machines are pretty interesting if your from the UK and never used an American one before, lol.x

I go to 7-11 and get an iced coffee then put a good measure of my own Tia Maria in it. I can walk around most of the day with a little buzz on before getting into it at night:beer:

    HOTELS
    Hi all,

So 5th trip to Vegas booked and it's actually for our honeymoon! Staying at the Aria as its the best deal we could find. Going 8th -14th October. Don't know anything about this hotel so does anyone have any tips? - I have emailed them to see if we can get an upgrade as this has worked quite well in the past but haven't heard anything?

    Am :)

I think they've put that off now which is why they're sorting out the foundations and going to try and use it... At least that's what the cabbie says!

re coffee machines, they have Keurig ones in Vdara rooms and housekeeping tops up the sachets along with bottled water every day. But you can always bring your own supply

Cant find any articles that suggest it has been put off, all the latest articles (late july) suggest the courts have given the demolition the go ahead

Car is with Dollar. Got it changed this morning. The guy said good thing we brought it back if we're driving to LA. He said he was giving us a focus but the key said 'fiesta'. I asked and he said it's because it's from California. Mmmm don't think so. I went up to look, then went back and said to him that it was smaller than a focus. He then said it's the same category. I disagreed and said it's small. He then got me a dodge avenger (I think) but when we went up and looked the oil change light was on. The guy then called the helper over and told him how to get the oil light to go out by pressing buttons and told us to follow. I said 'no, we're not taking it with an oil light on'. He then finally got us another car. It's a Chevrolet Impala (I think it's called that). Bit better. Bit bigger than I wanted but won't complain. On the way over from LA we had a Kia Rio. I now also think that was smaller than what we were meant to have. Not sure if it's my imagination but I thought the focus looked much bigger than at home. Liked the grey one we had before it got bumped!!

A cadillac margarita is a margarita with grand marnier in it as well. Definitely worth a try if you like margaritas. It was a cocktail waitress at the Wynn that recommended it a couple of years ago. Can easily result in a hangover if not careful. :rotfl:

Thats a lot of cars, I nearly always get a dollar car and have definitely noticed them getting older and longer in the tooth, but have only had one that I had to exchange mid rental.

Hate the thought of having an accident in one, hope there is no comeback on you
