According to Walgreens' website, they do a basic coffee maker for $14.99 (if you can't be bothered trekking to Walmart). I'd never have thought of buying one for the room before reading on here :)

    Who is the hire with

    Whats a cadillac margarita?

Car is with Dollar. Got it changed this morning. The guy said good thing we brought it back if we're driving to LA. He said he was giving us a focus but the key said 'fiesta'. I asked and he said it's because it's from California. Mmmm don't think so. I went up to look, then went back and said to him that it was smaller than a focus. He then said it's the same category. I disagreed and said it's small. He then got me a dodge avenger (I think) but when we went up and looked the oil change light was on. The guy then called the helper over and told him how to get the oil light to go out by pressing buttons and told us to follow. I said 'no, we're not taking it with an oil light on'. He then finally got us another car. It's a Chevrolet Impala (I think it's called that). Bit better. Bit bigger than I wanted but won't complain. On the way over from LA we had a Kia Rio. I now also think that was smaller than what we were meant to have. Not sure if it's my imagination but I thought the focus looked much bigger than at home. Liked the grey one we had before it got bumped!!

A cadillac margarita is a margarita with grand marnier in it as well. Definitely worth a try if you like margaritas. It was a cocktail waitress at the Wynn that recommended it a couple of years ago. Can easily result in a hangover if not careful. :rotfl:

if yoou need to hire a car for 1 or 2 days max, is it best to book well in advance or is it just as cheap to just find somewhere on the day to hire one?

When from the UK it is better to book in advance through Netflights or Carhire3000 (there may be others that folk on here use). This way you get proper insurance and you don't have to pay anything else once here.

Snap for Free wifi and coffee maker the Platinum, and you get top ups of coffee whenever you want it, just ring housekeeping. You can save time by ordering extra washing powder at the same time.

In the Signature you also get free tea n coffee and wifi. if you want laundry done they have a little man or women that does it for you ;) you dont even have to marry them

Paying for WiFi has become a huge issue in North America. People want it free in hotel rooms and are becoming quite vocal about it. I mean MacDonalds has free Wifi as does Starbucks.

I mean you pay $XXX for a hotel room and they want anywhere from $12-25 to cover internet usage but can spend $3.00 on a coffee and suck up all the WiFi you want.

not sure if I have seen them in the Walgreens on the strip - I know they sell hot pots though so maybe...but looks like that $14.99 one a 5-cup...the $10 ones from Walmart are 12 cup ;) - suppose it doesn't matter for those who wouldn't want a full pot...and we do not always finish ours.

We really love being able to get up and put on a pot of coffee to have while we're getting ready. We do still buy drinks from Starbucks, etc. but usually not in the morning as we did before the in-room coffee pot thing started.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
