I'm actually gutted that my washing is all done. Was quite enjoying it, the machines are so much quicker than at home, and the stuff dries better too. :rotfl::rotfl:
Look on your washer at home for a quick wash cycle, ours has 30 degrees for 30 minutes the same as the one in the Platinum. We save all of the "Snuggle" fabric softener sheets from the Plat and use them at home, never neede to use the dryer in the room.;)
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

They don't have them in any of the rooms at Cosmo. Did you book through Virgin? You may get free wifi, we did in August and looking at their website they have benefits with Cosmo...free wifi, free breakfast buffet for 2 and $30 for drinks at chandelier bar ($28 for 2 cocktails). If you are unsure what you have just ask at front desk, it will be on your booking.

We had a coffee maker at the Cosmo. Supplies weren't included, but were available for $5 per pack.

We also had one a couple of times at Paris where supplies were provided.

Always have one, with supplies, at the Carriage House.

We had three different room types and not one had a coffee maker and if you book through Virgin they do say under important information....
Please note: The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas no longer features tea/coffee makers in their rooms.

    maybe its a recent thing....

they are talking of imploding that soon, the latest info I could find is not till late 2013 early 2014 though due to legal wranglings

I think they've put that off now which is why they're sorting out the foundations and going to try and use it... At least that's what the cabbie says!

re coffee machines, they have Keurig ones in Vdara rooms and housekeeping tops up the sachets along with bottled water every day. But you can always bring your own supply

You seem quite the expert eh :rotfl: Ours does have a 30 cycle but it has a slow spin, so I need to respin it quicker...and I forget in the middle etc so it ends up taking longer :D Not got a dryer at home so won't bother taking the snuggle.

We also have a coffee maker at Platinum, although I couldn't be bothered with it. I guess I'm not a huge fan of coffee. I'm not bringing it over to cosmo though :rotfl:

I also like that the fridge here has a water filter and water/ice dispenser on the door. We bought water the day we checked in because we forgot, but we haven't had to buy any more. I'm never going to get through that huge bottle of white zin though....not sure what I was thinking there.

We were at Cosmo last night. Didn't do very well on the machines but had some nice cadillac margaritas. We need to pack today, we drive to LA tomorrow. We're going to see if we can change the car today though because it's shuddering when I go over 50, and also the brakes are making a noise. It has 37000 miles on it, I would have thought that was rather high for a hire car.

Only free because you pay a resort fee......... ;)
  • What sort of nightly rates are people paying at the Cosmo? I'm looking to go in May next year and the best deal I can find is $900 for 10 nights at Tropicana with resort fees waived.

Wouldn't mind spending a bit more if i can find a good deal at one of the more elite hotels!
