We also have a coffee maker at Platinum, although I couldn't be bothered with it. I guess I'm not a huge fan of coffee. I'm not bringing it over to cosmo though :rotfl:

I also like that the fridge here has a water filter and water/ice dispenser on the door. We bought water the day we checked in because we forgot, but we haven't had to buy any more. I'm never going to get through that huge bottle of white zin though....not sure what I was thinking there.

We were at Cosmo last night. Didn't do very well on the machines but had some nice cadillac margaritas. We need to pack today, we drive to LA tomorrow. We're going to see if we can change the car today though because it's shuddering when I go over 50, and also the brakes are making a noise. It has 37000 miles on it, I would have thought that was rather high for a hire car.

That has become more common in todays economy with rental fleets being chenged less often

    Who is the hire with

    Whats a cadillac margarita?

I actually forgot about the resort fee! :ashamed: Dont mind though as luckily this time we booked through lowcostusa which included resort fee and was cheaper than any other prices I could find when resort fee was factored in so I dont feel too ripped off!

Free at the Signature and you get a coffee maker there too!!

    In public areas?
What sort of nightly rates are people paying at the Cosmo? I'm looking to go in May next year and the best deal I can find is $900 for 10 nights at Tropicana with resort fees waived.

Wouldn't mind spending a bit more if i can find a good deal at one of the more elite hotels!

Think we have paid about £120 per night for a suite with balcony. Try Trigago & lowcostusa to compare prices.

if yoou need to hire a car for 1 or 2 days max, is it best to book well in advance or is it just as cheap to just find somewhere on the day to hire one?

We have bought one in the past at walmart for $10 and then left it behin at the end of our trip

have you ever been to a Goodwill or similar? SOOOO many coffee makers...I always wonder how many of our $10 coffee makers we leave behind end up there. :)

The coffee makers we have had in our rooms at Bally's and Paris are those one-cup sort of ones...so we still always buy one...we bring coffee from home and have a pack of filters we've been working or way through for years. Get some Coffee Mate French Vanilla creamer (Walgreens or CVS carry it) and we're awfully pleased with our set-up. ;)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Snap for Free wifi and coffee maker the Platinum, and you get top ups of coffee whenever you want it, just ring housekeeping. You can save time by ordering extra washing powder at the same time.

The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
