Making our first trip to Vegas in October (staying in Long Beach and hopefully driving or flying as far as San Francisco and back). Vegas is a must. Glad I've got 4 weeks to read all of this thread and pick up some top tips.

We went to an Imax years ago at grand canyon & loved it but thats rather different I suppose. We would definitely go in Vegas if there was a movie we wanted to see, as we never go in the UK we just wait till it comes to cable tv as can't be bothered to find somewhere to park and then pay through the nose for everything; so it would be something different for us to do.

We don't tend to bother in the Uk either, we are miles away from a decent cinema here anyway.

My name is stoneman, and I do washing in Vegas (actually Mrs. S does the washing I do the ironing) how do you think we manage to go for 10 nights and only take 4 suitcases with 32KG in each, as well as 2 roll alongs. If we didn't wash our stuff while there we would have to pay for excess luggage.
