  • Hello!! Been lurking since my last trip in 2010, didn't think I would be going again till next year at the earliest, but just booked for next week!! Too excited!!

Fly out on Saturday, staying at the Stratosphere for the 1st night (it was CHEAP and we figured we wouldn't be up to doing much anyway) then moving to Caesar's for 5 nights (again great deal) from Sunday... What is the best time for us to check in there? I realise the weekend is going to be crazy busy so want to try to time it right!

As yet have no plans - so much to research and so little time!! Just on an app-downloading spree at the minute... Think the main thing we need are food vouchers? Where do I start?! Ahhhh I am so EXCITEDDDDDDD! :D

Happy as pigs in !!!! now. Moved out of Planetho this morning and came straight to Platinum about 10am to drop bags off so we could go shopping and they let us check in. Well only before having our booking down as 25th of September and having to sort it out. Checked my emails to Derek and I definitely said August. Helpful as always though.
As an aside, if you are staying in the Platinum go to channel 9 on the TV and watch the Platinum info film. When they say "our pool is heated for your pleasure" you will see Tracy and I on pool loungers!
We watched them doing the filming in March but didn't realise we would be on it.
Came in tonite after going to M Resort to avoid the kids o

n the strip and this was waiting for us

Wow, very nice of them - what a nice gesture. I gather you are happy at the platinum? Did you get free wifi? We did last time, but I seem to remember they gave us it after we had trouble with our room so wondered if it is now standard anyway (think it said it was standard on the website when we were booking).

Hope the weather has also improved. I checked the forecast and it looks like it is good. Did you drive down to M Resort and do the buffet? We did this last time but bit of a bummer driving and being offered free wine with the buffet  Nice place though. Well only 3 more days at work for us, and 4 days till we leave for LA and Vegas . :T

That sounds like a great topic to add into Page 1. Could you post all the Vegas apps you download?

It's the week after Labor Day so prices will be lower than the norm. Lots of hotels have great rates still available.

After a weekend of searching, found a cheapy rate on TravelRepublic - was about £350 for 5 nights - given we were looking at spending in excess of £700 on a hotel in Spain we thought it was a good deal anyway!!

Thats a great price, hope thats not for the Roman tower though or at least if it is that you get upgraded on arrival, by all acounts its not difficult to get upgraded from there.

Looks like Dee was right there are some great rates around for next week
