What are the rewards and for how many points

Not that I use facebook though :(

you can get anything from free cocktails, free rooms, room upgrades, meals for 2 in various restaurants, free entry to attractions, free cirque tickets, cabanas at MGM etc etc etc. Also some Mlife Moments like choose the bellagio fountain songs and celebrity makeovers.

The lowest rewards start at 5000 and go up to 1,250,000 for the highest.

Does it have to be that date (I know it's a birthday but is it non-negotiable for your mate to actually be there on the day)? If you go from Gatwick on 23 June and come back on 1 July (8 nights) Virign price is £616.30 at the mo. Try skyscanner.net and play around with your dates if you can

Oh no sorry, its for his birthday and can be any time during the summer tbh! Just next summer basically!

So you can get cheaper deals then, whats your view on the LA to vegas thing? is it worth it?

I'm doing LA flights next week, will be back mid-September and I'll be sure to post and let you know how we get on. We're hoping it will be ok. We're staying at Culver City for 2 nights on arrival, so close to the airport, and also beside a shopping mall. We have booked to stay at Long Beach on the way back. I believe the drive is only 4 hours in good traffic. We expect to be jetlagged and getting up early so we'll drive to Vegas early on the Sunday morning (maybe stop at Primm) and hopefully the road will be quiet.

I've never done it but a road trip's definitely on my wish list! One of the regulars on here is just on a trip where they've done exactly whay you're talking about, if you're not booking for a week or two maybe hang on and see how they liked it? There might well be others on here who've done it too. I'm very much an inexperienced newbie on this thread but there are some really fab people with loads of advice to share :)

I've just booked next June (Manchester direct to Vegas) and got that plus 11 nights 5 star hotel for £970 per person so there are definitely good deals around if you're flexible on dates. I went through doing searches on all possible departure dates until I found the cheapest!

I booked a hotel & flight package through lowcostusa but I think most people on here would advise you to look at separate flight and hotel bookings. For me, I couldn't find separates for a better price though

For your 1st time going, would you get a flight from the UK to LA then drive to vegas over 10days or would you fly to vegas direct for 7days?

We are going for my mates 30th and i just wanna drive on the roads haha

Flights from 8th july for 1 week were coming up 1k each for direct flights and 900 each direct to LAX

    Does that sound about right?

I have flown to LA twice, stayed for a couple of nights and then driven to Vegas.

have driven back to return from there and also flown back to LA for the return flight

It is a 5 to 7 hour drive with very little to see.

IMO unless there is something you want to do in LA then fly direct to Vegas. Whatever you do, dont think about driving direct to Vegas after landing at LA

Direct flights for may were down to £576 last week but i noticed they have gone back up to near £700, if you want the best prices you have to keep checking daily, set up fare alerts on kayak

Some good rewards up for offer and its completely free to play.

Look up a facebook group called "MyVegas Friends" you can add friends and increase your daily chips to get rewards faster.

Cool, I will check out that group. Thanks. I've just started playing so only have 2000 reward credits.

been playing just over 2 weeks. I actually created the group but it has just shy of 200 members. you can add all of them as "friends" so your daily bonus will be in the 10's of thousands. Im getting about 70k chips per day plus 100 or so people sending me chips.

Im not here trying to "plug" the group but its an easy way to earn some rewards.

Ive been following this thread for years and go Vegas every year.
The game is still in Beta but grab your coins while you can before they cap the ammount of friends etc.
!!!!!! is advertising it as well.
  • baza I have just asked to join the fb group.
do you know if it posts constantly on your timeline, or do you have to post so that you get extra coins from the myvegas friends group?
    thanks
