I can use the €3 a day plan on my HTC Desire, but it needed tweaking in the shop. It just took a few minutes.

hmm, don't suppose you know what the tweaking was?! i've got a new HTC (Sensation XE), so sounds like it may work ...

Hi and welcome to the LV thread.

Have you read Page 1 as that is where you will find all the best info.

Current code for r.com is GOLD valid until Friday for 60% off. If you want a Stripburger cert you will need to log onto the site early on the 1st of the month, but no promo code available then. Harley-Davidson Cafe is a good cert to get as it includes alcohol.

Haven't read good things about the $20 trick working at Harrah's. What rate(s) have to got?

Bally's is usually about the same price, but we think the rooms are far better than Harrah's. $20 there may get you an upgrade from the South Tower to the North Tower.

What are you looking to do, shows, gambling, eating out?

... though we've been in December and I didn't wear a warm coat (or even a jacket) once :) maybe we were lucky (... or just managed to keep ourselves away from the chill - I know it got cooler at night but we survived :) )

Best bit about that article was the advertisment picture of mine and Mr Dontone's favourite lawyer, Glen Lerner :rotfl:.Any time we had the telly on in our room in the Wynn, we were blinded by Glen's extremely shiny pearly whites. That smile is brighter than the Vegas sunshine.
Can't beat the billboard ad we came across on our very first visit in 2001. A lawyer called "Kermitt L Waters" wish we had a photo of that :)
BEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.

comping = nowt more thrillin' than winnin':T :j

sorry if this is old news, but i've only just come across this thread on another forum:

    http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/travel-discussion/529706/

an archive of $20 sandwich/front desk experiences at Vegas hotels... makes for interesting reading if nothing else!

looking forward to trying it in a few weeks ;)
