    Venetian.com is an IHG website?

I think he was saying that the price you're trying to match is not from a non-IHG website.

    The T&Cs also say

Comparison Prices Must Be Available to the General Public Online.

The Best Price Guarantee applies only to prices both advertised and available to the general public on a non-IHG website at the time of verification. For example, this does not include prices offered on membership program websites; corporate discounts; negotiated prices; group, rewards program, incentive, meeting, convention, consolidator or interline prices; prices obtained via auction or similar process; or prices available only by using a coupon or other promotion not offered to the general public. The average nightly lower price may not come from a website where you call to get the price, or from an e-mail that you received.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    And not before time..............
Strip Litterbugs Stopped: An ordinance targeting littering on the Las Vegas Strip was approved Tuesday by the Clark County Board of Commissioners. The new ordinance will oblige the "!!!!!! slappers" responsible for distributing adult handbills to clean up every 15 minutes within a 25-foot radius of where they're standing. Violation of the rule will be a misdemeanor offese carrying a penalty of up to a $1,000 fine, or six months in jail.

Well I suppose it could be a grey area but the Venetian and Pallazzo are part of the IHG group so I assume the Venetian.com is part of IHG.

However feel free to try your luck with the IHG BRG BUT be very careful as they are denying what at times seem genuine claims.

FT thread-look at the last few for how some are getting denied\winning

    Good luck.

A friend is of to the US before my next trip & has offered to get phones for me so we are good to go on arrival.

    Bit of advice please.

There are 3 couples going so thought it would be good to have 3 PAYG T mobile phones. Have looked on the Walmart site & there seems to be some around $18. I assume I then buy a SIM with some credit on. Can I get this from Walmart too?

Don't have to get it from Walmart, just thought it was an easy place to send my friend (they will be in LA).

Also want the T mobile PAYG sim for daily broadband - I think this is $3/ day. Do they have to get this from a T mobile shop & then I register it?

Any advice appreciated as I'm unsure what's the cheapest/ best option.

    TIA

Not exactly a job title you would want on your C.V is it?

    "!!!!!! slapper"

Still, glad they are doing something about all the litter. It gets a bit annoying seeing fruity cards peppered all over the floor.

As far as I know, you can only get the data sims from t mobile. I go to the one at Maryland Parkway and Flamingo. They will make sure your phone is set up properly for it. You buy a pay as you go sim and then opt for the $3/day data.

i think so... i've just asked a friend in the states to order a couple of the sim cards, which she'll then mail over to me in the UK. i'll take these to LV and go online, activate them and apply the Pay By The Day plan.

unless you're using a US-bought particular TMobile phone, you'll only be able to go onto the $2/day plan (2G connection), as the $3/day plan requires a particular kind of 4G handset.

I can use the €3 a day plan on my HTC Desire, but it needed tweaking in the shop. It just took a few minutes.
