hi guys, does anybody know if I can pay for a day at Mandalays pool if not staying there???

    From Mandalays FAQ's
Does Mandalay Bay offer a day pass to the pool area for non guests?

For guest safety and security, the Lagoon is open only to registered guests of Mandalay Bay or THEHotel; however, a non-guest can have access by renting a cabana Monday thru Thursday. Please call Cabana Reservations at 877.305.3136 for reservations and questions

    prices

    Mandalay Bay

    Cabana: beginning at $225
Beach or Garden Bungalow: beginning at $525
    Villa Soleil: beginning at $500

Smallpo have you priced the flights and hotels seperately? that may be cheaper.

Great choice though to stay at THE Hotel and Mirage

Thanks - yes I did, and booking through Low Cost was the cheapes way I could find :D

I agree the Orleans could be a good choice. You would feel safe there at night as there's a security guy by the lifts who makes everyone show their roomcard to get past.

Depends whether you will be out late though, shuttle finishes around 12. Doesn't start till 10, but then that gives you time to go get breakfast etc.

It's not much by cab after 12.15 am (time of the last shuttle) from memory $10 and I noticed last time I was there the shuttles were starting before 10 as I got from the Flamingo to the Orleans before breakfast prices finished at their buffet.

Arghhhh, they are showing my all time favorite film on August 20th. The day we get there but too early in the evening

I'll be at PH that night. Think I'll give the Wizard of Oz a miss though!! (and I don't like Cosmo anyway).

Website quotes shuttle times 9am to 1230am. That seems to be extended from what I remember last time we stayed there. Good news. :T

    for NYNY -

    http://www.destinationcoupons.com/Nevada/Las_Vegas/New-York-Rollercoaster/new-york-rollercoaster-coupons.asp

on Stratosphere, not sure if there are any online, there may be...or you could have a look at something like the Las Vegas Advisor Member Reward book (which also has a 2-for-1 for the NYNY roller coaster).

Depending on the sorts of things you want to do, it may be that a LVA membership will easily pay for itself.

    Full list is here:

    http://www.shoplva.com/pages/mrb-list-2012

$37 for online membership and you can pick up the book of vouchers from their office or have it shipped to you for a bit more.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

We arrive at PlanetHo that night as well. I will be in the sports bar at 9 and OH will be on Cave King or Wolf Run!!
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
