yep as i said earlier i am sure whatever happened to her has now been rectified ... i doubt very very much if they just left things the way they were as that is a law suit waiting to happen otherwise
as i also said i am sure it will be fine if i didnt think so i wouldnt've bothered booking it half price or not ... i did find the situation that happened with the woman and her daughter more of a concern and i am sure that has been addressed0 -
Little late to the party with discussing Scoot City, but it really is worth the money.
We did it 2 years ago (not long after that bad review actually) and it was a perfect morning, one of the best parts of our trip. (its in my trip report in the 1st post i think).
It was so good, that we have sorted the other tour (Strip & Downtown) for this upcoming trip.
2 more days. Im getting a bit giddy.0 -
I think I've finally narrowed my hotel search down to the tropicana. Has anyone got any experiences to share? From the sites I've visited it looks like a good location and has been newly refurbished. I've found a discount code that has taken 20% off my 10 day stay for 2 people at the start of October (£548), but Im scared to take the plunge0

VALUE FOR MONEYno personal experience with Tropicana but I think a few have stayed there in the last 6-12 months - maybe search the thread for Tropicana (and the 2011 thread).
For 10 days I'd consider splitting the trip between 2 hotels...we used to never do it (usually go 8-9 nights) but now find like many others that we really quite enjoy the change mid-trip...I know it's all personal preference, but we wouldn't want to be south strip for 10 nights.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Id considered splitting up the trip and a few people have told me its the way to go. Im trying to price individual elements of the trip just now to see if i can do it cheaper than the package deals. A transfer from the airport to a hotel. Would a taxi suffice or could i quite easily get taken for a ride. No pun intended0

VALUE FOR MONEYTaxi will be fine, just tell them not to take the tunnel. Also before you go let us know where you are staying and someone can tell you a route to suggest to the taxi driver.0

VALUE FOR MONEYElantan, if you have specific tastes, then a trip to Wholefoods might not be a bad idea. I'm sure you'll get loads of healthy veggie stuff there. You will find plenty at the buffets too. I know you say you don't want to go out for breakfast, but consider whether you are going out that day anyway. If you are just going down to the pool then you are probably saving some time by making something you like.0

Have you posted the code?
We have a few days to fill in our Oct/Nov trip, so would be interested in that.0 -
hello...its almost 10 years since I have been to Las vegas, and we are going back this august. we got married there last visit, and this year i hit the big 40!! i keep reading about the resort fees, which i need to pay directly to the hotel..... is there a list somewhere, as I looked at one hotel, and it is $60 per day, which can really bump up the price of the holiday...... i am going to read much more of this thread, as i am sure there are some great booking tips.... my hubby seems to be in the dark ages, and was expecting it to cost the same as when we last went!!! thanks for any help0
