The 30mb is per day. It's a US sim card from the shop I mentioned on Flamingo/Maryland Parkway. I think that's the closest to the strip. If you don't have a car it's an easy bus ride away. The 202 runs every 15-20 mins.

We stayed at the IP last month. There was a bit of construction noise and it was a pain to get in and out of the front and back entrances. The valet and taxi pick up/drop off were relocated to the coach entrance which was where most of the noise we heard was from. We have had a room in that area before and it was quiet, but the changes made it noisy.

Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

thanks ferf, got some of that, its ok but not the same it is very salty, and bitter,( I know that sounds silly) maybe because it is oak smoked, The salt at Envy was Alderwood smoked and when put straight on the tongue was very sweet tasting, have found some the same but its £15!!

A couple of deals that might interest someone...

Groupon...CSI experience $15 for one (usually $31.50) or $29 for two (usually $63)

Living Social Deal....Night Train..Party Bus with Unlimited Drinks and VIP Entry to Three Nightclubs or Two-Day Club-Hopping Package with VIP Entry to Two Ultra Lounges, Two Pool Parties, and Two Nightclubs... $49 saving of 51%

I have done the CSI experience and it was just OK to me,certainly wouldn't pay full price. As for clubbing Im too old by Vegas standard (30's) but thought it may be of interest to the 20 somethings!

"Can I use my Starbucks Card when I travel internationally?

Starbucks Cards activated in any of the participating countries can be used to make purchases and be reloaded in any other participating country. Starbucks Cards must first be activated by loading money onto the card in the country of purchase before being used internationally. The participating countries are; UK, USA, Canada, Thailand, Australia, Hong Kong, Mexico, and the Republic of Ireland."

we usually do, not always around the 20% mark... depends on service. because it's a pretty much help-yourself environment, i'm not going to tip if i receive no service.

but we find that you usually get good waiters who clean plates away, make sure drinks are topped up, sometimes make recommendations, etc. and so then a tip is deserved :)
