  • Have been reading through this thread with interest - Some excellent tips and advice.

Just wondering what shows would be recommended for kids? Would anyone think any of the cirque shows or Blue Man group? Any others?

    Thanks for any replies.

Those that have been to Absinthe can anyone advise the cheapest place to get tickets?

They are around $90 from the box office but I seem to remember reading somewhere that you can get a discount.

There is a guy handing out $20 off coupons at the Roman Plaza, near the tent and the box office. The box office opens at noon. I think we were $151 for two with fees and taxes.

We booked a couple of day in advance and got excellent seats immediately behind the VIP seats and facing the front of the stage.

You can get from Tix4Tonight for $69 + service charge ($6 without a discount), but can only get them on the day and you would get what ever seats were left.

    touch screen IFE :(:(:(

pet-hate of mine but obviously a lot more versatile... I quite liked their control unit as was nothing worse than nodding off to sleep and the person behind prodding at your headrest (because it does't work properly)

they couldn't do a video where you didn't have to keep pausing it to see anything? :)

Agree on the touch screen IFE...but it's almost worse when yours DOESN'T respond and you're constantly aware that the person in front is probably about to punch you.

if the guy isn't knocking about, then you can still get it just by quoting JBFAN at the boxoffice (from Margaritaville Facebook Page) - http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/margaritavillelasvegas
Absinthe is offering a special deal to our facebook friends! Mention the code JBFAN at the time of purchase and get $20 off a reserved seating ticket

I know this is pretty specific as only one date and not necessarily an artist that would be someone everyone would want to see, but we would have been all over it if our dates were not a bit too late...slightly gutted, actually...

    Peter Gabriel Back to Front
So Live performed by the original 1987 line-up.
    PH Theatre, 5th October.

Presale code is SOVEGAS (venue pre-sale code, there are several pre-sale code options) until tomorrow at 5pm (I assume Vegas time, so 1am our time)...general on-sale on Saturday at 10am.
