Never seen a question like this on the vegas board..what makes you think you can buy a replica (do youmean fake) watch in Vegas.

    I have no idea
replica, fake, blag, etc etc yeah. Thought that one person might have had a clue that's all.

What's the best way of taking money over? Cash, cash passport, credit/debit card.. etc.

Think i will give it a miss and book PH. Any one had much luck with the $20 trick?

Sounds like we were in the minority - we ended up with an 'upgrade' room with a strip view but had we paid for the upgrade we would have been most miffed...it sounds like most have had much more luck and the resort rooms are absolutely lovely.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Well managed to book the week 13th June to 20th for $533 all in, which seemed very good. Just hope we can try and wrangle an upgrade, but third time to vegas and know that most time will not be spent in the room. thanks for all advice

You're not going to like this then. We stayed there a couple of years ago and it's not a very good place. I really don't recommend it. Real issue with lounger hoggers around the pool, the hotel don't have enough loungers and it's the only place in Vegas that I've witnessed blatant lounger hogging. If you're going during pool weather please consider this carefully.
