I have to agree with this. We went to the Sidewalk Cafe yesterday for the breakfast buffet as we didn't want to do brunch. Horrible, tiny and very poor choice and quality. Our only bad meal yet.

Also not fans of the Sidewalk Cafe and always go to Paris if we want a close-by cafe dining experience. The Bally's buffet when it existed we had twice (both times free) and wasn't great, though for free it filled a gap at the time...didn't realise that they had a buffet at the Cafe now...

One day I will try the Sterling Brunch at Bally's as it's meant to be excellent, but we're aren't champagne drinkers, and while the food is meant to be high-end, it seems a lot to pay to us...
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Im quite suprised TR are comping me rooms, last year we split our stay between Harrahs and MGM and also split our spending between the 2 properties.
Most of our stays have been in MGM properties and so has most of our spending

I cant see Mlife comping anything as the last 4 days fall over Halloween.

We've had a couple of 'yays', so i'll wade in with a 'nay'.

I was refused, however it was on the Sunday of Labour Day weekend so occupancy was high and people wouldn't be checking out till the following day.

I didn't overly mind, as it was a bit of a calculated risk as I had only paid $40 (or $60?) per room, per night and was happy settling for the Hollywood Hip :)

Edit: thanks for the peepshow travelzoo heads up guys. hadn't noticed it was on there :)
