Never seen a question like this on the vegas board..what makes you think you can buy a replica (do youmean fake) watch in Vegas.
I have no idea0 -
VALUE FOR MONEYStand-and-deliver wrote: »Hi people, just after some quick info with regard to actually travelling to Las Vegas
My partner is travelling to Las Vegas via Detroit, but is it correct that when arriving in Detroit her checked in baggage will not be automatically be placed onto her forward flight to Las Vegas. Can anyone tell me the exact procedure that she will have to follow on arrival at Detroit including US immigration matters. She has a three hour stop over so timing should not be a problem.
We've cocked up slightly on booking her return journey as she flies via Cincinnatti where she has just under an hours transfer time and then Atlanta back to Heathrow, but I am led to believe that her baggage on the way back will automatically be transferred to her forwarding flights. Both outward and return journeys are with Delta airlines.
If anyone else has travelled these routes and can offer an insight or pointers I would be most grateful, she is being met at Las Vegas so that is not a problem.
Thanks in anticipation..

As Froggit says,,nothing to worry about loads of time to pick up bags in detroit clear customs and then redrop baggage it will be clearly marked.
yes checked all the way thru on return0 -
VALUE FOR MONEYHi All,
Hoping you can help... I'm going to Vegas for the first time in November. We've booked with Thomas Cook as it worked out cheaper that booking separate, and going for 7 nights (sat - sat) staying at the Luxor.
In the paperwork there is no mention of the resort fee to pay when we get there, and I queried it with Thomas Cook who said if it wasn't in the paperwork, it wouldn't be applicable. Do we not have to pay it because we booked through an agency, or is it that we're going for 7 nights?? or should I expect to pay it when we get there?
Thanks
If you didnt pay it to TC, then you will most likely have to pay it at the hotel, but as Ferf says if they do ask you could plead ignorance and make a fuss and most likely they will take it off again0 -

hi all,
sorry i havnt been back on i have been busy working and busy dealing with a lot of family issues ... have looked at more accomadation and read more reviews which tbh is probably not a good idea as i seem to think i have a hotel i fancy only to read a host of bad reviews
i am still trying to pin things down as to where to stay for how long and what to do etc i think though i may have a bit more of a plan ( after long long discussions with mr el ) how does this sound
4 nights vegas
3 nights south rim grand canyon
1 night death valley
3 nights yosemite park
4 nights pleasanton ( sanfran)
2 nights lake tahoe
3 nights pleasanton
home
i may land up staying 7 nights in vegas if my two friends manage to get booked as well ( i have some very good friends that have heard i am going over for my 40th and have said they may join us)
how does that sound ?0 -

Hated: Stay away from the breakfast buffet at Bally's Sidewalk Cafe. My husband and I went in search of cheaper breakfasts than $15.99 buffets. We could have eaten at McDonald's again but we were sick of it. So we stopped at Bally's, which had a $11.99 buffet. Well, it was the most disgusting food I've ever eaten, and every table around us complained as well. Scrape up that extra four dollars per person and go to a nice buffet. It's worth every cent, TRUST ME.
Oh dear.0
